See this beautiful church erected in 1820 and rebuilt in 1884 (after almost destroyed by Union troops). The actual Christ Church Parrish was established by English Colonists in 1736. See the beautiful stained Windows, Feel history come alive !!

I do believe this church was built in the 1700's it is beautiful but I love the cemetery around it .I have seen gravestones marked in 1700's .The grounds are well kept Be sure to take a nature walk across the street.

This was a great quick stop on our vacation to St Simons. Guides provided some nice information on the history of the island and the church.

Rich in history and architectural elements. The church is gorgeous and stained glass windows are breathtaking. Although you can visit the grounds and cemetery when the church doors aren't open, make the effort to go when you can visit inside. The person working there was very informative.

Beautifully authentic church build by shipbuilders. The scissor trusses were very unique and the variety of stained glass windows was impressive. The cemetery was a delight of old graves that were old and interesting. Definitely a place to stop.

We visited this church as part of a coach tour with Country Travelers Discovery. The step on guide gave us an informative lecture of the church and its history.

Old church with interesting graveyard. The history here is unique The church itself is an active church which was preparing for service when we visited.

We took a tour of historic St. Simons Island. Included in the tour was a,visit to Christ Church. What a beautiful spot and so much history. Our guide Cindyl did an excellent job of narration.

We loved our stop here. (It's free but they accept cash donations.) Very beautiful grounds, trees. And inside the stained class is very pretty. Terrible bugs here, though, in May. Trying to walk around the outside wasn't pleasant because of those. Check for hours before going. Thankfully we got there before they closed on a weekday after 4pm.

What a place for calm reflection and worship. The stained glass windows are so brilliantly colored and the woodwork is spectacular. Thank you for sharing this treasure with the public.
