Recently visited with English visitors and they absolutely loved it. Impressive from the outside, do try to visit on a weekday after 2.00pm when it’s normally open and attended by a volunteer who will explain its history and point out things of particular interest, such...More

This church and the grounds are beautiful pretty much year round. Inside you'll see some of the most interesting stained glass brought here many many years ago. The cemetery is interesting too. Some of the headstones date back to the early. 1800's! Very peaceful area.

I grew up in the Methodist church. It was amazing to see a place where the Wesley brothers preached prior to the founding of the Methodist church. The entire grounds look like a movie set, just picture perfect inside and out. The stained glass windows...More

it's the birthplace of the methodist church. old mossy draped faded oak court yard is smack dab on the road with historical markers. not much to see past the wesley oak, but an historic site if ever there was one.

Christ Church provides a quiet spot to take a stroll through beautifully kept grounds housing a cemetery. The grounds (cemetery) are large enough where couples or groups of people are not right on top of each other. The church is open from 2-5 pm. A...More

They do, but the service is held in the newer church. The church where the cemetery is is too small to hold the Sunday service.

Yes. It's a very active congregation with multiple services on Sunday and some weekday services as well. Look on their website - ccfssi
