The cemetery is beautiful.

This is set in a beautiful quiet part of the island. We enjoy biking to the cemetery connected to the church and then strolling and reading the headstones.

You can't visit St Simons without a trip to Christ Church. I was amused that it was a Pokestop and the church had signs along the road welcoming players to return on Sunday to catch the Holy Ghost

Just a beautiful church which is a "must see" when you are on St. Simon's! I rode my bike up the island and stopped at the church and had a wonderful time on a hot afternoon. I plan to go back for a service in this historic and beautiful place.

Three presidents who worshipped there have the pews they sat in marked. Beautiful Tiffany window and other stained glass windows. Graves have interesting facts such as minister's 1st wife died on their honeymoon while sailing around the world. Buried with her in the same cript. 2nd wife and three year old only son buried next to them. Neptune Smalls returned... More

Christ Church embodies the history of the island. A walk around the graveyard seems to whisper all the secrets of the people who called St. Simons their home.

Hands down on my favorite list of places to visit. If you've read any of Eugenia Prices historical novels, this place will come alive for you. She is buried here, in the small cemetery. Just a beautiful old church worthy of touring. Sit in one of the old pews and imagine life back then. Check out the stained glass windows,... More
