OK tour. Although we were assured we would get trolley, we rode in a bus. The driver was somewhat knowledgable of st. Simon Island, although he admitted he knew a lot more about Jekyll Island. He told us we could go back and visit many of places that we just drove past. This may have been because we travelled off season.

My husband and I took this tour yhesterday. We took it about a year and a half ago and it was wonderful then with a great teacher informing us along the way. This time the driver was the second day on the job but he was no where near as good as the previous guide nor as knowledgable !!! He had to stop twice to buy oil to put in the trolley "hoping" we would get back to the pier as the trolley wa shaving a problem with oil. This compnay should not send out equipment that isn't relable and the guides should be thoroughly trained and knowledgable a bout the area. We will not take the tour again.

That’s the way I can describe this. Our driver was Richard, and our host was Kevin. Both were engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining. They made everyone feel at home, introduced themselves, and engaged in conversation. They were both very knowledgeable about the island and the sites, and took the time to answer questions and to point out good restaurants and good shopping. We took advantage of their recommendations and were highly pleased. We went to the Golden Isles olive oil company as well as to the mixed nuts boutique and consignment shop. For dinner we tried crab daddies, it was hard to get parking that’s how popular the place is and how good the food is. This is definitely a tour worth every penny and should be taken on the first day of your vacation so that way you don’t miss any of the great sites.

Our driver was very knowledgably about St Simons Island. He loved to all different stories about the island. The tour was 2 hours long and it was good the whole time. Took one break at the Fort. Make sure you don't try to go see the fort like we did and we got dirty looks for being late. We saw all the sights on this tour.

The whole family had such an enjoyable afternoon on Captain William’s boat tour! We learned a lot about the island, got an up-close view of bird island and the capsized cargo ship in the port, and saw a bunch of dolphins along the way! Great way to spend the afternoon!
