About
Nestled in the rolling hills of Georgias upper piedmont, this is one of northern Georgias best kept secrets. A beautiful stream flows through the park, providing the perfect setting for an after-picnic stroll. Hikers can follow either the short nature trail or the longer perimeter trail that winds through hardwoods and crosses creeks.

RV camping spots are setup perfectly not right on top of each other. The bathrooms are being rebuilt in the lower section so if you need showers or bathroom keep that in mind. We came to the park to avoid the July 4th fireworks because our dogs do not like them. We could hear nearby fireworks so that was a bummer but the noise of the RV a/c helped drown them out. Not the parks fault but we will keep that in mind for next time. Drive to park was easy no narrow roads easy to manage. Trail starts are right behind some camping spots so if someone is already there it can get awkward walking into their space just to get on a trail

This park is beautiful. We camped for the weekend in February. It was cold and windy the first night, so we ate at a place called Zebs. It was really good. The park is small. Some of the campsites were close together, but many were spaced apart. We had a travel trailer and stayed on site 16. It was a good sized site. It was across the street from the playground. The trails were good. There is an observation tower and lots of nature.

We camped here for two nights in early April 2016. The platform camping sites are really fun. Site 4 is extremely private and is the best of the platform sites. Some of the platforms are really close together (Sites 2 and 3 and Sites 7 and 8 especially). I highly recommend you get there early on a Friday for weekend camping in hopes of getting Site 4. We arrived at 11 am and had first pick of the platform sites for the weekend. The website currently doesn't indicate the platform sites have electricity and water, but they do. There is an outlet by the water pump next to the site and another outlet under the platform structure. The platform structure also has an overhead light. Many people had two tents set up under the platform (they are large platforms). The bathrooms were small, but clean. There was plenty of toilet paper. When we were there it was quieter than many state park campsites I have stayed at, which I enjoyed as I don't like listening to loud parties and music late into the night. We hiked for 3 hours and basically did most of the trails in the park. As such, there is only enough hiking for about one day worth at this park. We started at the campground and took the inner loop trail to the Victoria's Path Trail, we then hit the footbridge/Creek Ford and picked up the perimeter trail and hiked that to the intersection with Broad River Loop Trail. We hiked the entire Broad River Loop Trail and then continued on with the perimeter trail until we reached the inner loop again and took that back to the campground. So our hike basically covered most of the parks trails with the exception of the segment of the Perimeter Trail from Fish Pond 1 to the Inner Loop. It took 3 hours. Like others have mentioned, the trails are wide paths and I would consider them more of a walk in the woods as opposed to a true hike. Victoria's path is probably the prettiest because it is along the stream. The tree leaves had not filled in on the first week in April. I think the park would be prettier had we waited one more month to visit. I prefer more greenery in the woods as opposed to bare branches. This was my only negative about the park and obviously it was due to the time we visited. The campsite was great though! Loved how the platform site protected us from the rain we had on Friday night also. The second day we stayed at Victoria Bryant we drove about 50 minutes and hiked Panther Creek Falls, which I highly recommend and will review also.

Took our 2 grandsons for 3 days camping while on spring break. They loved it! There was plenty there for both to do. Went fishing 2 days at both lakes and they caught fish both days. The youngest was 4 and was his first camping trip and first time ever fishing. He was so excited and can't wait to go camping again. It was a great place to take him on his first camping trip. The park hosts were great. The bathrooms and showers were kept up and very clean with plenty of hot water. The rangers were very friendly and helpful. Our first time here and we have made it our favorite. Will definitely plan to go back and would recommend it to everyone.

My kids and I went here today to check it. The pool is small but it was nice to be able to relax and not have to worry about a crazy crowd. Everyone seem nice all kids seem to get along. There is a kiddy pool as well. Price is ok $4 for m-thu and $5 for the weekends and you do have to pay the $5 park fee as well. They do have a little snack stand. We will definitely go back.

This park is beautiful! There is a small river with rocks and picturesque bridges - perfect for photos or just contemplation. There are several walking/hiking paths that go by the river or over the nearby hills. They have two small playgrounds outside the campground and a couple in the camping areas.
Our family loves to camp in the tent area since they have covered platforms with water and electricity. The tent areas are fairly close to the restrooms (which are kept clean) and are separated from the RV areas so they feel a little more secluded.
The staff has always been helpful and courteous.
The only thing I do not like about the park is that during late August and September there can be a lot of yellow jackets.

We arrived very late, 11pm.. well aware that the check in time was 1pm (we confirmed this would not be a problem, and that we would be able set up camp upon arrival to check in the following morning.) When did arrive however, our reserved spot was unavailable... another group had taken it... turns out there was nowhere else available. There was a mix up in the office, that they didn't realize that the sign they put up with our last name and date was the arrival date and not the check out date. So they took it down, leading the other group to believe that they could take it. After sleeping though the night in my car (very agitated and angry) we woke up early to get it sorted out.
The women at the front desk, I don't remember her name was amazing. She profusely apologized and immediately called in (and woke up) the park ranger. He also profusely apologized and went to tell the group in our reserved area to move, he and the office accepted full responsibly for the mix up. Thankfully, they refunded me for that night, and gave us free passed to the archery range... WHICH WAS AMAZING. Probably the best feature of the place, besides the views. It consisted of a static range, 10-40 yards... and then the 3-D range, which was even better. They had everything from Moose to bears and goats. Obviously they had deer, large and medium size... even alligators. In total there were 20 life size animals.
The park was absolutely beautiful, 10X better than the pictures, all of the views were amazing. If you are platform camping, I definitely recommend sites 5-8.
Although it was a very stressful start, the staff went above and beyond to make it right, and the park was perfectly kept, no flaws and with stunning sites.

The platform camping was a different experience. It is like a deck with a cover where you pitch your tent. I was happy to have a place off the ground and under cover because we had a torrential downpour. The pad in front of the platform has a picnic table and fire ring. The problem we had was at campsite T1 the water coming down the hill came onto our pad and kept rising to our platform. They need to cut a drain on each side of the platform to let the water run off. We were bailing water to keep our tent from flooding.

My family and I just had a great time here. We came the weekend of the solar eclipse and as you can guess most of the other GA parks were completely full weeks ahead of the event. Ordinarily we'd go to Tugaloo State Park which is actually very close however it was also full but boy did we luck out stumbling onto this place! Victoria Bryant park is amazing there's a golf course , archery range, 2 play grounds, several trails, 2 stocked fishing ponds, a swimming pool (which at the time was only open on weekends as all of the lifeguards were in school), and an awesome creek that we spent hours playing in. We camped on the platforms which were surprisingly large as we were able to fit both a 6 person tent and 3 person tent and still with room to set up a play area for the kids. Also on the outside of the platform there are built in wooden benches to increase your seating area from the standard picnic bench provided. The Camp host was super friendly and always seemed to be around when I wanted to ask a question. The bathhouse was well maintained and had very hot showers. There were the standard men's and women's combined restrooms and showers but also 2 family restrooms and 2 family showers which were a lifesaver with a wiggly 18 month old and 4 year old. We camped for 3 nights but with the eclipse eating up a whole day we'll definitely have to come back and spend a few more days exploring all the park has to offer!

Beautiful place to enjoy a nice, quiet trail! There are great views, lots of shade, nice ponds, a lovely creek to follow with some nice waterfalls, and a few bridges on which to stop and rest and take in the beauty all around you! There is also a public pool, carmp grounds, two playgrounds, gazebos and covers for picnics, volley ball courts, and more!
