While in Roswell I wanted to see some of the historic sights. We were blessed with someone who leads tours at Barrington Hall as a volunteer. She gave us the tour of the grounds, and as a gardener myself, I can say they were beautiful. I appreciated some of the plants that were over a hundred years old! I saw... More

I was in Roswell for my sister's wedding. My parents were with me and we had time to tour around. The advice from the wonderful Visitor's Center in Roswell was to visit the Trilogy of Houses and this was one of them. This is a beautiful house that looks like what you imagine when you think of Gone with the... More

We took some friends from Ohio who are history buffs. They and we were charmed by the information and the well-tended artifacts, pictures, china, silver, bedding, furniture, etc. A great adventure for your out-of-town guests.

I actually had the pleasure of meeting the great-granddaughter of Barrington King, owner of this gorgeous home. Over the years since she passed away, the house has been completely restored, and is worthy of one's time to go visit Barrington Hall. So many of the pieces of furniture, pictures, etc are original to the house. You will love seeing the... More

This is a great historical home owned by the city of Roswell! I highly recommend seeing this home and it's grounds in the spring if you are able when it's in full bloom.

I always bring visitors to this gorgeous home! It is exactly what people imagine when they think of the Old South. You can come and walk the grounds if you don't have time for the house tour. There is a cell phone outside tour that is free.

Our guide did and outstanding job of providing a tour of the house and a history of the family members from 1842 until 2003.

This review is for the Smith plantation, Bulloch Hall and Barrington Hall. They are nearby each other and very similar as they are homes built in the mid 1800s. These are very nice preserved homes and out buildings that are iconic with Atlanta and the South. It's wonderful that it is right in the middle of the metro Atlanta area!... More
