Elysium is a deceptively simple storefront along Rome's classic Broad Street. I drop by every time we come through the town, almost always finding something out of the ordinary at very reasonable price (at least for this urban visitor from out-of-state)... hand-carved Italian cameos, concave Balinese bracelets, Chinese silk handbags, beautifully detailed silver ginkgo jewelry, silk shawls an scarves... And they sometimes have interesting items on sale. It's always a surprise. Just out doing a little Christmas shopping. Such beautiful sterling jewelry. Very unique but a bit pricey, I think. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This shop is a long narrow showroom with a variety of jewelry and some clothes on the side. A lot of the items seemed over priced, but they are very uncommon to see. A lot of the items appear hand crafted as well. The staff were delightful to speak to

I have visited this shop twice over the past 3 years. I also make purchases online. The store has clothing, purses, jewelry and other accessories. Many of the items are made by local artists. It is located in the heart of downtown Rome. The store also offers layaways and a out of towner can make a small deposit and call in with a payment for layaways. I love the hand crafted unique styles and it is all very affordable. When I wear my purchases in my hometown of the SF Bay, I always receive compliments and comments about where I purchased my earrings and braclets. The silver is high quality 925 and much of it is from Italy. They also have items on Shoptiques.com and on their web site.…
