The team was very open and communicative this made me feel comfortable from the very beginning .
They explained everything that I needed to know .

The jump was amazing , while watching out of the plane I was like is this really happening lol .
We jumped out and enjoyed a view of a lifetime . My instructor allowed me to do some cool stuff with the parachute afterwards .

The camera man was very nice and will go out of his way to get you great photos and videos .

The landing was also very smooth and calculated.
I’ll definitely do it again under this company .
You should try it too !!!

Ps : when in the air , just smile for the camera at alll times 🙂😂 😃 . Happy Sky Diving .

This was my first time and they provided a great experience from start to finish. I felt very attended to and safe throughout that by the time it came to jump out of the plane I had ultimate confidence in my instructor (XC) and little to no fear. Give it a go--your chute WILL open (until then, enjoy riding on air for several thousand feet over 60 seconds of free fall). We went on a Thursday morning at 10:00 with great weather so we were in and out in under two hours (we were prepared to stay for a few, though).

My family and I went here last month for my brother’s birthday. I had been once before and had an INCREDIBLE time, so of course I had to bring my family here to experience it for themselves! All of our instructors were friendly and helpful, and made my brother, parents and uncle all feel a bit more comfortable with it being their first time skydiving. They also had the best jokes from beginning to end. We all had a blast & got the best picture to capture such an awesome memory. My brother & uncle ran in to buy another ticket as soon as they landed! We will definitely be back. Thanks Skydive Spaceland for such a fun time!

Omg! This is definitely the place to go! As a first timer skydiving, I would definitely recommend Skydive Spaceland Atlanta. Plus I would definitely do it again, just with them! They guided me through every single step and I felt 100% safe and comfortable. Hank as my instructor and David and my camera man were the best team! I had a great video and pictures that would last a lifetime! Loved it!!!❤

I took my first skydive today at Skydive Spaceland Atlanta. The facilities and location are very nice. We used a Cessna Caravan to quickly climb to 14,000 feet. We exited the airplane and had a great freefall, above the clouds for about 60 seconds. When I pulled the ripcord at 6,000 Ft. we started our time under the canopy. Luke, my instructor, directed as I flew the parachute around the clouds, and to the landing zone. On the way down, we were able to see a circular rainbow on top of a cloud. The view was beautiful. This trip was a birthday gift from my beautiful wife. She stayed at the landing zone. Pedro, helped my wife get to the landing zone at the right time to see my arrival. He was very helpful as my wife has some mobility issues. Yes, we did buy the discounted return ticket, and I look forward to dropping in again.

Hi Dan, Thank you for spending your birthday with us! I know watching you gave your wife some motivation to jump with you next time, and we are so happy she encouraged you to purchase your second jump! We look forward to seeing you both soon!

I recently obtained my A-license from Skydive Spaceland Atlanta and I feel obliged to submit a review with the purpose of letting other people know about this amazing place. If you plan to do a tandem jump by yourself, with your family, partner or friends, if you are an experienced skydiver or if you want to become one of them - I wouldn't be able to recommend a better place to go to!

Before coming to Rockmart (GA) to start my “A-license in a week” program with the guys from Skydive Spaceland Atlanta, I spent a few days of online research figuring out which skydiving school I should choose. I'm currently living in Brazil, however, my Portuguese skills are rather limited, so I decided to do my skydiving license in one of the southern states of the US (TX, GA, FL, AL) where I could take a direct flight. Out of the numerous skydiving companies I wrote to, with general questions about the course, ways of transportation and available dates, Skydive Spaceland clearly stood out. All of my questions were answered immediately and in great detail. The prizes are very competitive, with $2,400 for the complete A-license, an amazing deal! Having said that, I can now confirm that there are no hidden costs and everything stated on their homepage is clear and transparent. Moreover, Skydive Spaceland has an outstanding and renowned reputation in the skydiving business and is currently found in 3 states (i.e. Houston, TX; Clewiston, FL and Rockmart, GA). The latter opened only recently (May, 2015) and offers brand new facilities in a beautiful scenery of rural Georgia. However, it's still in close proximity to Atlanta (and the international airport).

When I arrived at the skydiving location on a Sunday morning my reception was very kind and I immediately felt welcome as a part of the skydiving community. All staff members are super friendly and supportive. My course started straight away with the ground school – after all, I signed up for an A-license in a week program! The theoretical component of the course, where you learn everything about skydiving is in accordance with the manual of the United States Parachute Association (USPA). However, upon arrival you will receive an own manual of Skydive Spaceland (which comprises everything there is to know about the A-license course). It's clearly no rocket-science if you come prepared (although this is not a prerequisite!). If you should struggle or you don't understand sth immediately, the instructor will help you clarify it with a lot of patience, dedication and as much time as it takes for you to understand. The practical components (airplane boarding and exiting, freefall performance, under canopy performance and landing) are rigorously trained and based on the vast experience of all instructors you're safely guided through each step and you know exactly what you have to do (especially in case of an unlikely emergency!). There was not a single time that I felt unsafe! The program itself is well structured and is becoming more and more interesting over its duration. With each passing day your skill regarding your freefall maneuvers, canopy performance and landings increase almost exponentially, thanks to the guidance of your instructors.

I will dedicate an extra little chapter on safety, emergency procedures and implementation. Bottom-line is: Your and everyone else's safety is the top priority at Skydive Spaceland! The equipment used at Skydive Spaceland is state-of-the-art and well maintained. The same applies for the airplane (i.e. Twin Otter) used at this skydiving facility – it will bring you up to 14k feet in no time! The largest component that guarantees your own safety, however, is not the equipment used, airplane you will fly in or experience of staff – this is on YOU! You will be trained in all possible emergency situations and canopy malfunctions as unlikely as they may seem. The instructors overemphasize the safety rules, which is in your best interest – you will build up muscle memory to react instantaneously to any emergency situation, without panicking or thinking “What shall I do now?”. If everyone that would like to become a licensed skydiver would choose an education at Skydive Spaceland and their highly experienced instructors, this sport which is already safer than driving a car (!) would become even safer! Recent accusations published online on alcohol abuse by staff members at Skydive Spaceland Atlanta can not be confirmed and are out of whole cloth. It most likely resembles envy of nearby skydiving operators with the aim to ruin the reputation of the competitor (i.e. Skydive Spaceland Atlanta). None of the staff members would perform skydiving under the influence of alcohol – as I said above: safety is their top priority!

This course full of adrenaline, fun and adventure would not be the same without the people working at Skydive Spaceland Atlanta. The people who made their passion for the sport their daily income. People so experienced in this sport and yet they will welcome you as one of their own right from the start. Most of the staff members of Skydive Spaceland Atlanta know each other for many years, most of them already worked together and relocated from Texas to help build up this new skydiving facility in Rockmart. The whole team consists of highly experienced, unbelievably friendly and laid-back people and you will become part of one big family! And this is basically why this place, this location and this school is so special! If you perform well, show your passion for the sport and interact with the people working at Skydive Spaceland, you will not only end up as a licensed skydiver able to explore the skies anywhere in the world – most importantly you will find friends for life!

Anyone who survived reading my review up to this stage, I would highly recommend you to participate and become part of the family at Skydive Spaceland Atlanta. I can not emphasize more to find out for yourselves and then leave a good review – I want to see this place flourish and gain the reputation it deserves: A great school, amazing people and a beautiful location!

I am immensely grateful to Steve, the owner of Skydive Spaceland and current pilot at the Atlanta facility. You're a great pilot and an amazing fellow. In order for me to finish my license in time you sometimes flew with only me and my instructor in the plane – no other skydiving operator would have done that! I'd also like to thank all staff members of Skydive Spaceland Atlanta for the best time of my life – in particular: David, Eduardo, James, Kevin, Rob, John, Charles & Justin! I have learned so much from all of you guys in such a short period of time! I will come back for my B-license or even before that – that's a promise, ey? Keep up the good work and 'blue skies'!

This place is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and so professional. The grounds are very well kept. My husband and I did this as an anniversary/birthday present and Kayla (my instructor), Cray Cray (my husband's instructor) and David (the videophotographer) were the best. We had initially decided not to do the video jut David changed our mind and believe me I am glad he did. We've watched it already several times in a very short time. It being our first jump we were initially very hesitant and scared but the confidence and trust they instilled on us made it so much easier, we felt extremely safe. They checked our harness over and over and they kept us all distracted cracking jokes on the way up and even sang their special happy birthday version to me. It all happened so fast there was no time to chicken out when it was time to jump. We loved it so much we took advantage of their offer and purchased our second jump. Can't wait to do it again. If this is on your bucket list, this is by far the best place to go. You won't regret it.

I strongly believe that everyone should go skydiving at least once in their life, whether you just turned 18 a few seconds ago or you're a 90-year-old adrenaline junkie. Skydiving is an indescribable breathtaking thrill that will leave you speechless but have you talking about it for the rest of your life. When you decide you want to go skydiving, choose Skydive Spaceland Atlanta!! I had my first tandem jump, and I could not have a more enjoyable experience! The atmosphere is relaxing and laidback, the people are kind and funny, and the jump itself is exhilarating and stunning. You're in good hands, especially if your instructor is Drew! Shoutout to videographer CJ for the awesome video! You want your first jump to be something you want to remember, so choose Skydive Spaceland Atlanta!

“Skydiving provides a unique combination of adrenaline-fueled exhilaration and perfectly calm tranquility. While in freefall it's all about the rush -- but once the parachute opens and your heart rate steadies, you'll take a moment to gaze around you and see the whole world in a new light. It's beautiful up there, and the experience is about as close to flying as humans can actually get.” -Dominic Utton

I have 10 grandchildren of which 7 are of the age to jump. I told them I'd pay for their 1st jump & go with them. So far 4 have taken me upon the offer. BTW, I'm 76!!!!!
So it is scary, thrilling & memorable. Before the 1st jump I looked at all jump schools in the Atlanta area plus St. Louis! In the end Skydive Spaceland was the best choice for me & it has worked out well. They are very safety conscious make you feel comfortable. However, for me, coming out of the plane is always scary.
Highly recommended!
