Golfers seeking a real test of their abilities look forward to playing 7,057 yard, par 72 Mountain View, designed by world-famous golf architect Dick Wilson. Tight, tree-lined fairways are characteristic of this true championship course. Mountain View was home to the PGA Tour's Buick Challenge for more than a dozen years. One of Mountain View's most intriguing holes is the par 5, number 6 where the threat of water looms over both tee and approach shots. This hole was ranked as the fourth most difficult par 5 on the Tour by USA Today.

First, I play golf once a year, and that is on my families annual trip to Callaway Gardens. There are two courses, and both offer a unique experience. Lakeview, the original course at Callaway Gardens is wide open at times, and Mountian View is more...More

I played the lakeside course on December 24th. The weather was great, the course was in excellent condition, and the rate was very reasonable for such a great venue. The lakeside course may. The easier of the two courses, but it is still a challenge....More

Leaving Florida a few days ahead of Irma, we were able to play two rounds on the Mountain View course. We were extremely pleased at the condition of the course.

The Lakeview course is challenging but fun. When we played the course was in excellent condition. The clubhouse staff was friendly and helpful, and when staying in the gardens you get a nice discount on golf.

We played the Lake course and thoroughly enjoyed our round. Because we were staying at the Lodge and Spa our round was discounted ($50/person...the regular price is $80/person). The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The course was in great shape, challenging but fair. We...More

This was the best part of our trip here. We played both courses and enjoyed them equally. The course is beautifully maintained, and we found it challenging but fun (we're not great golfers). The roughs were high and there are woods everywhere, so we reached...More

Played both golf courses and both were in excellent condition. Mountain View has hosted a PGA Tour event and is a more "macho" course. Lake View looks easy on the scorecard, but don't hit it crooked. If I could only play one, I believe I'd...More

It varies by time of year. In the summer it is about $50 per round. We used our summer fun cards to pay and it took one card for 3 rounds. Hope this helps you.
