A nice ride through the FDR state park in Pine Mountain. I was a first time horse rider and had a great time. Before getting on the horse, you are given a short orientation and have the choice to wear a helmet or not. Wonderful staff and it looks like the horses are well taken care of.

This is a must do! This was my first time horseback riding. I was pretty nervous but the wonderful staff and volunteers were great. From the time we arrived on sight you can tell they genuinely care about the horses. We had a fantastic time and this was the highlight of our vacation to Pine Mountain. I will do it... More

My husband and I have been talking about a riding trip to Roosevelt for many years. This past weekend, our best riding buddies and us finally made that trip! What took us so long? The stalls for our horses were clean and ready for our arrival. The owners, staff and volunteers could not have been for welcoming and friendly. We... More

Immediately we felt like family. Had tons of fun riding the trails, camping, helping out in the barn. Just the rich history that surrounds the stables and the park was wonderful for our fourth grader. Everyone should go!

The highlight of our trip. Kudos to Roosevelt Stables and it's amazing owner, Keith, and his equally amazing staff of volunteers who went above and beyond to make our vacation one of our most memorable. Their attention to detail in preparing us for our ride was very informative and easily understood. They offer several different rides, each with different ride... More

I'm not one to just go and hop on a horse, but the folks at Roosevelt Stables made me feel comfortable in doing just that. We came here to collect some geocaches on the Geocaching Trail here at Roosevelt Stables. We have found geocaches all over the world, but have not found any while sitting on a horse until now.... We went riding at 11 in the morning. It was a beautiful day to be out, even in the winter. We took a ride to the overlook... More
