SOOOO much fun. Pretty early in the season, so they’re still working on getting cast members, but they made sure we had the best time possible. We will be back!

13 Stories haunted house, one of many haunted houses in GA but one of the best in the area. Experience was great overall, from the minute you pull into the parking lot, there is crowd pleasers everywhere (Quit scary to some people), there is couple of food trucks and other vendors in the outside area, which is a nice touch to have while purchasing tickets or waiting for entry. Then comes the ticketing area, workers are friendly but it is one busy place so I would say being there 30 minutes early would be ideal specially on the weekends. The Haunted house itself, it have 3 different areas on the inside which is, the actual 13 stories part which have 24 different scenes, then you have Clown Haus, which is quit a nice walk around the different circus scenes, then you have the basement attraction which you have to find your way out from it. The attractions are quit nice and there is a lot of art that many people can appreciate so it is a different world to experience. Meant for all ages.

A group of 8 of us went. 3 teenage boys and 3 teenage girls and 2 parents. We went on a Saturday night at 730. They have 3 options with general admission, fast pass or VIP. We did VIP. VIP did not show up on our printed tickets but was on the phone conformation so we were able to scan and get started. It takes about 30 minutes which to me is fine. Not sure I would want it to be longer. Everyone in our group really enjoyed it and we will definitely go back. The props were fun and the actors did a great job as well. All of the workers were nice as well. No pressure to do a review and actually did not even see any signs requesting reviews. I can see where the general admission line may get long if you show up so I’d at least do fast pass. We had to slow down a few times as we got close to the end of another group but the tell you in advance to slow down if that happens. Also, the actors help to slow you down and guide you. Great time and we will definitely return

BIASED REVIEWS! drove an hour and a half after RAVE reviews just to find out the gift shop gives out FREE COOZIES FOR REVIEWS ON ANY PLATFORM AS LONG AS YOU SHOW THEM THE POSTED REVIEW. all while ur waiting in the front of a line of crowded people. You have a minute or two tops to write a review and get ur FREE GIFT. why do you think most reviews are either “love it” or “hate it”? pretty easy to guess that a majority of the reviews are written right there at the front of the line, only to then be immediately read by an employee (who was actually very nice) they literally PRESSURE AND BRIBE you into leaving a good review and rush the amount of time you can have to write it, not directly, but by making you be in the front of a line VIRTUAL LINE was nice for the most part, only thing with it was that it texted me telling me I had to be there, making it seem like the website claim about showing up between your “your turn” text and closing was misunderstood on my part... i pushed us back 3 times in line with the “more time” text only to then receive a text saying “show up whenever as long as your here before closing” kinda annoying and very stressful considering i was an hour and a half away and went through the “more time” process 3 times before being informed i didn’t have to. Tried to call to ask before moving us back in line whether i had misunderstood, but phone lines there were down. GREAT customer service, had some issues with tickets about whether or not we could attend the night we bought for and was greeted on the phone by very helpful and calming employees- only problem w customer service was two employees refused to tell us what hellevator even was, EXTREMELY disappointed to find out it was just a bumpy room that lasted a minute and a half with NO SCARES OR EVEN SCARE ACTORS at all after paying around 20$ on top of ticket prices to get it for 3 people, felt veryyyyy ripped off... but... the 2 haunted attractions were alright. not very scary and very obvious, they did more tickling my neck and more playing with my hair than the grabbing and pushing we were lead to believe would happen because of the waiver. animatronics were definitely more freaky than the house itself. Felt kinda disappointed in the amount of money we spent vs the experience we had. We purchased fast pass tickets (worth it for skipping line!!! GA line was surprisingly long considering that it didn’t seem at first that many people were there) actors were pretty good at not breaking character and very interactive, but the house needed to be longer. and scarier. website is misleading on the attractions that are actually here, and word of mouth legends about this place made it seem WAY scarier than it was. i’d consider it very OVERHYPED. not worth a long drive like we had, but if ur in the area then sure? give it a go? i see why they say “NO REFUNDS EVER” because i would assume they get a lot of complaints. and finally, to top it all off, the “2 ATTRACTIONS” are in the same building. we didn’t even really realize that the new attraction had started.ideally, to lengthen the time spent there, it’d be much nicer if they were more separated than just another room in the haunted house, whole thing took less than 30 minutes and was fun but disappointing. definitely not the “EXTREME HAUNTED HOUSE” they claimed to be. it was really just 4-5 rooms of animatronics and air blast noises and then a giant open room w maybe 10 actors, and then repeat. I guess it’s good for really young kids? NOT the experience that they advertise.

Response from Allyn G, Owner at 13 Stories Haunted House
Responded Oct 14, 2019
We have been operating this family business for 36 years now. With that I feel we have earned the right to respond to some reviews. Anyone that knows me or my family knows I would never operate my family business unethically. Here is my response to your review. Honest and objective people will decide what they want to believe given both statements. Those that know me and our business appreciate us as a great family business where friends come together to provide a little entertainment for families and friends: - The free koozie is for a review. We do not read the reviews before giving anything. We do not ask to read the reviews. We don't have time. We are busy. The reviews are done IN THE GIFT SHOP. Not in the front of the lines. The gift shop is at the END of the haunts. We don't even keep koozies at the front of the haunts. - Everyone else figures out our text system. Sorry you didn't. I try to make it very simple. - The Hellevator had my Nephew in it. He puts on a complete show during the entire time for only $6. Taxes are included. - Your review stated: "the house needed to be longer. and scarier. website is misleading on the attractions that are actually here, and word of mouth legends about this place made it seem WAY scarier than it was." You walked a 54,000 square foot building. Most of it minus the office area and studio area. We are bigger and longer than most haunts in the state of Georgia. I often hear people say that a particular haunt needs to be scarier. How can that be accomplished? I would love to know the answer to that question. The fact is that most people that aren't scared at haunted houses will never be scared at haunted houses. Most people that get scared at haunted houses will most always be scared at haunted houses. Simple fact. Your review says "I’d consider it very OVERHYPED. not worth a long drive like we had, but if ur in the area then sure? give it a go? i see why they say “NO REFUNDS EVER” because i would assume they get a lot of complaints." No. We could not have survived 36 years with lot's of complaints. We DO get lot's of people that get too scared and then ask for their money back because we did exactly what we were paid to do. Scare people. Your review stated “2 ATTRACTIONS” are in the same building. we didn’t even really realize that the new attraction had started.ideally, to lengthen the time spent there, it’d be much nicer if they were more separated than just another room in the haunted house, whole thing took less than 30 minutes and was fun but disappointing." We had the two separated in the past. Then we get complaints that there was ANOTHER line to wait in. We streamlined the experience by having you seamlessly enter the Clown Haus Returns area and, except for your complaint, we have had NO ONE complain about having to wait in another line. Your review says "it was really just 4-5 rooms of animatronics and air blast noises and then a giant open room w maybe 10 actors, and then repeat." What the WHAT??? 54,000 square feet. more than 50, yes FIFTY, rooms. With actors and crew there are close to 100 people working. I have no earthly idea how you would think there were very few actors. I am actually very confused by your review. Parts of it appear to be very thoughtful and parts of it are absolutely inaccurate for whatever reason. I would leave you with only this question. Answer this and you will have solved our constant dilemma.... How does one build a haunted house that is not too scary for the people that complain about us being too scary, at the same time being scary enough for the people that say we aren't scary enough? Would love to know the answer to that one... I invite you out to my family business any time during this season for a lights on tour narrated personally by me. I would love to get your input on how I can do better. Honest offer. My email is 13storieshauntedhouse@gmail.com if you would like to take me up on the offer. Thanks. Allyn Glover - Owner, 13 Stories Haunted house.

we went on the weekend of halloween and ended up standing in line for 2 hours in a line that was totally out of control. once we finally got in we stood in another line while in the actual scare house. there were no actors and i wasn’t even scared just being stepped on. TOTAL waste of money.
