Let me start by saying that I am not a quilter, but I do sew at home. I recently went in there for thread for a project I was working on, and was very impressed with the selection of fabrics. They have many projects that are ready to go, and classes for all levels of experience. I'm seriously thinking about... More

This shop has lots of fabric and a wonderful corner to park the man. My overall feeling, however, was of a place that didn't quite dare to stock anything out of the ordinary or with zip. Even the Kaffe Fassett fabrics were the drabber of his line. The newer lines from other makers seemed to be few and dominated by... More

I love going to this quilt shop. They have the best fabric, patterns that I can't find anywhere, and the best notions for quilting. I love looking at all the quilt samples and ideas that are sprinkled throughout the shop. Makes me want to do everything immediately. Good customer service.

What a wonderful experience we had at A Scarlet Thread. Karen and Ken showed us true southern hospitality. Our Destination Destiny event was out of this world!!! We couldn't have asked for anything better. My only complaint is that I spent too much money there but ....... I love everything I brought home with me. This is a definite "must... More

I love this quilt shop. It's a large shop with something for everyone. There are lots of new things with samples to see. The owners and staff are very friendly and very helpful. If you are passing through Atlanta this is not far off of I-75 south of Atlanta.

We first stopped here back in 2013 and thought it was time that my wife had a special treat of a re-visit three years later. She loves to quilt and all things related to this art and I love to see her enjoy all that goes along with this. A Scarlet Thread is simply one of the nicest shops anyone... More

If you are a quilter, this is a must do shop! The quality and quantity of the fabric is amazing. Truly one stop shopping for the quilter; fabric, notions, patterns, books, machines, you name it! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoy my trips to this store because I find what I'm looking for and it is always a... More

We have driven down highway I-75 many times and have seen the big white sign advertising for a quilt shop claiming to be the largest in the state of Georgia but never gave it much thought since we had seen ads and visited sites stating to the biggest or oldest or something that turns out not to be correct. A... More
