Fun walk around town but not very spooky

This was a fun evening out with friends. I learned some history but the guide was a little bland. It was not spooky and the guide did not even seem to believe his stories.

If you don't mind a little walking, the night time ghost stories and history tour is fun! Lots of haunted buildings with lots of history and information on the underground tunnels under Marietta. This was a really fun tour.

Terrible. Do NOT waste your money. It is nothing but a hearsay bunch of talk and history. Adding the Root house just pulls you in further to purchasing a ticket. I was actually excited about this tour and boy what a let down. Just one big walk around the block.

Sure you're told a several stories, but they aren't very interesting nor do they have one thing to do with a legitimate ghost or spirit. There is a bunch of historical tales but nothing particular about a specific spirit or ghost. The Root House isn't known for ghost so why are we going through it? The tour needs to do... More

We drove to Marietta which is five hours from our home and checked into a hotel in Marietta specifically to take this tour. As we were preparing to leave for the tour, they called to tell us the tour was cancelled. We inquired about a refund since they were canceling and we were only in town one day specifically for... The tour is packed full of Marietta Confederate history. I loved that! The ghost stories were sprinkled throughout the tour. Our guide, Shiloh was well informed and did a very nice job. I would have really enjoyed a little more over the tunnels....... It was a nice holiday weekend tour with great evening weather. Looking forward to the Haunted Trolley... More

My boyfriend and I just got back from the tour. It's very interesting and full of stories of Marietta's history. We took the original walking tour. We didn't see any spirits, but enjoyed the stories. You don't actually go into any of the buildings so expect to stand outside and look into the windows and doors. The people you take... More

Looking for something exciting on a Sunday we were pleasantly surprise to find this tour. The trolley tour was very informative and the theatrics are engaging. The tour used to be BYOB but maybe not since we were there in September. We as well as other guests brought adult beverages but things went a spray when cups were left on... More

We got together a private group and took the Pub Crawl. Our Guide, Dudley, was very personable and interesting. We learned a lot about the history of the square as well as about the local hauntings. We had a great time and enjoyed the pubs we visited.

Thank Elizabeth D
