This is a great experience for anyone who enjoyed old time movie palaces. Although not a huge movie theater it is ornate and completely original. In addition to movies they offer shows and an upstairs facility that you can rent for parties or weddings. It...More

We came to the Strand for a tribute to the late Aretha Franklin. The venue is old and a part of the history of Marietta. The seats are comfortable. The restrooms are clean. The lobby area has refreshments and drinks. The theater is right across...More

A great old venue on the great Marietta Square. The entertainment is varied so you can find a reason to go. Seats are reasonably comfortable and spaced. The sound system is adequate for the job. Very short wine and beer selection. A fair variety of...More

Went for a local showing of the princess bride. For an old time theater, it didn't smell, was clean and fairly comfortable. Would be nice to go back again. Oh they have a balcony too, that was kinda unique.
