Had a terrible time finding and reaching the museum's new location in Busby Hall. Fortunately I finally found the Hilton and was able to turn in to their lot without getting rear ended and drive around to the far corner and park adjacent to the...More

“Frankly My Dear... you will give a damn ;-) ... about this museum. LOCATION: This museum used to be in downtown Marietta and has recently found a new home in a nearby quaint location reminiscent of Tara. The building and location is a historical site...More

Plenty of memorabilia, original dresses, and reminders of the highlights of Margaret Mitchell’s Classic. The museum could be updated with a renovation so it doesn’t seem so dark and musty inside. It could be made more inviting and interesting, but for the general fan, it...More

Gone with the wind is my mother's favorite movie. I've seen it at least 20 times. But taking a trip down this memory lane was a bit lack luster to say the least. Maybe you like with vintage dresses and the smell of your grandmas...More

This is 2018. Bringing a 79 year old film to life for today's potential viewers or readers is a HUGE challenge! First I would start with having the soundtrack playing within the small space that is the recreation of Tara. For $7.00, I would expect...More

I have a Gone with the Wind 41" by 27" Gone with the Wind picture. It is a very nice picture in a very beautiful frame. It was got from an antique shop for me as a gift but I was trying to sale it. It was listed there for $400 I was trying to sale it. I was wondering if yall could either had someone there who could tell me what it is worth or knew where I could take it to Have someone look at it and tell me what it is worth. I also was wondering if yall bought stuff like this at your location or once again if you knew someone I could get in contact with about trying to sale it. I have been looking online but have not really had much luck. It is 41" by 27" very pretty frame. It is still 100% like new condition still. It has been in my closet since it was given to me. I love the movie and picture but it is just to big for me to put out. This picture is the picture that is hanging over the fireplace in there home in Atlanta, her in the blue dress with the white lace rap on. My name is Victoria Higginbotham and any information you might be able to give me to help figure out what it is worth or how to find someone who might buy it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time. You could also email me at victoriah012384@yahoo or contact me by at 770 990-6300.
