We wanted to go camping again before we had to winterize our unit, so we chose a campground that was new to us and not too far away. I had read several other reviews of this campground and we thought we would give it a...More

We love visiting. It's so pretty and serene. We love going to the white sand beach during the summer. The shower areas and changing stalls are great. So is the beach shop.

The park did not have a lot of visitors; campground was not very full. The roads to the campground needs some attention. Nice beach area, though and miniature golf area was clean. Took a short hike and trail was fine.

Very nice state park. Swimming is best in late spring and early summer, July and August water temps are above 80 degrees, unless you go out on the boat and dive down about 20 feet - nice cold water down there. Relaxed atmosphere, beach, campground,...More

Camped in the location for years. Its a great place for kids to ride bikes and play. They are a mega boat ramp, easy in and out. Lots of camping spots.

I was suspicious driving to the park when it seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. We didn't see much of the park since my two young children were only interested in the playground. The playground was nice and surrounded by pavilions. There...More

Yurts overlook the water. It's down hill but just a short walk up from the shore after being out on the lake. Longer walk down from the car with the kayaks to the Yurts. They have carts though.
