Wild Leap Brewery Tour and Beer Tasting from Atlanta

5 reviews
Known for its IPAs and refreshing fruit beers, Wild Leap Brew Co is one of the most esteemed craft breweries in Georgia—and on this behind-the-scenes tour, you’ll get a rare perspective on how its beer gets made. Travel beyond Atlanta city limits to LaGrange (several tour times are available for your convenience) and meet your guide. You’ll see the production facilities, taste four of Wild Leap’s brews, and will walk away with a souvenir tasting glass.

Spent the morning on a house and grounds tour. A true jewel of Lagrange. On leaving I decided to become a member!

We made an after Christmas trip to Fantasy in Lights for my mother’s Christmas present. We decided to also visit Hills and Dales. It was an excellent experience. The tour of the home was excellent as well as our self guided tour of the gardens. This experience was a definite positive to our after Christmas get away.

The house is very well preserved with mostly original decor and furnishings..The docents are very well trained and knowledgeable. The gardens have a wide variety plantings for every season that follow the historical plan. The accompanying video and displays in the visitor center fill many historical details. Caution - for those with mobility issues, there is not an elevator to the top two floors of the house (never was). The first floor is elegant in its own right, though.

We have visited many historical homes but what makes Hills and Dales is the people! Rose gave an amazing tour. Everyone is so nice and kind that work there. The home and grounds were breathtaking. It definitely should be on everyone’s must see list!

If you’re in LaGrange, Hills and Dales is a must-see on your list. Very friendly staff welcome you at the beautiful Visitors Center with a lovely gift shop and nicest restrooms. The 15 minute introductory film is well done and really sets the tone for the story of the gardens and Callaway estate. Even on a rainy day, the gardens were a beauty to behold and the guided tour of the 30,000 square foot, exquisitely maintained, immaculate home simply awe-inspiring. Our docent, Clairnelle, was friendly and sprinkled fun facts and trivia throughout the tour of the three stories of the home. My only complaint was photos inside were not allowed, as I wanted to capture some of the beauty and share with my friends and family! A tram is ready to take you to and from the Visitors Center and the house when you’re ready. Go and be spellbound by the story of the love of three ladies for their garden and the families who called the land their home.
