I went here to Run an annual 5K for children with cancer. This is a great place to come and hang out, walk the trails they have mile markers on them so you can track your distance. There is a decent man made beach. Great for the kids to play and run around. Saturdays are real busy with vendors and... More

It's both, depending on what part of the facility you are using, and when you are using it. It has wonderful paved walking trails few realize exist. Pavilions that may be used for family picnics . A playground that is typically underutilized. There are some wonderful facilities for senior citizens, as well as a facility available for housing large events,... More

We reserved a pavilion for the day. The activities were great for all ages. We have a suggestion, having early ticket purchases instead of charging day of each person in a vehicle. It made it difficult for a family reunion group to gain entry without issues. We are giving an average score only because of that reason; other than that... More

This man made beach is very fun for the family or if you want to take a date for a romantic outing. There were a lot of children but it is summer time. Its big enough that you can move and not be bothered with others.

This man made beach (water park) is a great outing on any day. My sixteen year old daughter with two of her girlfriends spent a Saturday soaking up the sun while having fun on the water slides. The park is an ideal place for all ages with a couple of volley ball nets, walking trails and a water slide to... More

Went on a Saturday. There was trash all throughout the water and even saw what looked like feces floating in the water. Use to love this place, but I couldn't help wondering how do they clean/filter the water.

This is a good place to take young children under the age of 12 years old. Summer day care trip for camps will enjoy getting wet.

This is a beach complete with a water slide (long lines though) and a kiddie area...WITHOUT the beach animals and shells. PERFECT!!! It has a trampoline type situation out in the middle for diving and also has lifeguards. It can get a little crowded for nonswimmers such as myself but there is a D.J., bathrooms, concessions and a pavilion for... More
