This place is great for kids. You have the zoo, you can feed some of the animals. You also have a educational facility where you can learn about reptiles, see the snakes, alligators and turtles in their natural habitat. There is also bike trails, pic nic areas, a lake and other things to explore.

We live nearby and love going to Dauset Trails periodically. It is a rehabilitation center and I know that a lot of people in the county will take animals there if they are in need of help. The exhibits are mostly in the shade (which is awesome in this 100+ degree weather we've been having!) The farm part is mostly... More

While visiting family in Georgia they suggested we visit Dauset Trails. So glad they did. This place is actually a combination of things. It has a small zoo area with animals native to the area. There are trails with beautiful plants, flowers, feeders for all the birds, and even saw chipmunks running around on the ground. In another area there... More

This was a great place to visit and spend time looking around. Go when you have at least 2 hours to take your time and walk through to see everything. Sure you can go faster, but take some time to read and enjoy the surroundings.

This beautiful park is a favorite with our family. It is very clean, safe, beautiful, and fun for all ages. It has hiking and biking trails and gorgeous views from many sitting places. It also has a great small lake to view ducks and geese. There are also many rescued animals that are from the area that have been rehabilitated... More

Great place for everyone in the family. The nature center displays a lot of info about animals of Georgia and has some reptiles and fish downstairs. Outside is several animal exhibits. There are woodland animals like a cougar, beaver, bear and owls, and farm animals like horses, goats, pigs and chickens. Great place to show animals to kids. You can... More

My wife and I went here to just walk around. We have been here before and it's always a fun relaxing time. The grounds are kept very clean and plenty of trails paved and not paved. Lots of places to sit and relax. Mostly shaded and just a very enjoyable time. Always enjoyed watching the animals and birds. Our favorite... More
