Stoval Mill Covered Bridge - Anniversary weekend

Very quaint little covered bridge - great for photos! The river was beautiful too! My thoughts were that it needed widows on each side to look out at the river. :)

This covered bridge is located in a nice location by the creek, but unfortunately vandals have covered it in graffiti. What a shame.

I love this place. It's a great little watering hole to go swimming in on hot days. Hate that people vandalized the bridge tho. One of my favorite childhood memories.

A covered bridge which is an interesting piece of history you don't find anymore , also used in old movies.

This is a nice covered bridge. I was very dismayed with the amount of vandalism. I would love to see the Parks Department (or whoever maintains the grounds) paint or pressure wash, so the bridge would be more like its natural appearance was intended. Repair to the broken cement table would be nice, too.

Beautiful setting and racing creek under this bridge. Kind of upsetting to see all the graffiti on the bridge which took away from it's natural beauty.

A nice little covered bridge in an off the beaten path area. Was disappointed that so many idiots thought this was a good place to immortalized themselves by spray painting their names on it.

If you haven't seen a real covered bridge, this is a must. Not large, but genuine. Walk through only. Right beside current highway.

Although it is not in use anymore and the road and new bridge pass it by, it's only a few miles off route 17, an easy drive from Helen and surrounding areas. You should definitely go see it, so you can check it off your list.
