Small bridge, decent sized parking lot, plenty of graffiti but we love local history and this is the smallest covered bridge in Georgia. Is interesting and totally worth the 10 minute stop we made here. The day we visited it was possible to wade ankle deep in the water.

Lovely old bridge with an interesting history and celebrity status. It's in really good condition for pedestrians. Off to the side is the highway bridge spanning the Chattahoochee River. It's a shame, however, that people have no respect for history for the bridge is covered with spray paint graffiti. Stop by and just enjoy a piece of history.

This covered bridge is a gorgeous throwback to a by-gone era. It's easy to find, and the parking allows you to get out and explore the area a little bit. While you're in the area, stop and visit the old general store in Sautee!

I visited this bridge the first time in the Fall of 2015. Just off the road with a small parking area. Pretty spot on the creek that would be a nice spot to cool off in summer. But, so sad that the bridge has been defaced with graffiti. I drove there again in July 2016 hoping to see the graffiti... More

We had a cabin near the bridge so we stopped to see it one day while we were on that road. It is neat to see but just a one time thing. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back to it.

This stop was OK. If your not already headed that way, don't go out of your way. The bridge was covered in graffiti inside and out. There are a couple of picnic tables there, but they were right out in the sun.

This is only a 15 minute stop....but interesting and worth the stop. IF history and old bridges are not your thing...then drive by....but if history and bridges are your thing....it is worth a 15 minute stop.

Old bridge had to be reconstructed after a flood many years ago but it still has good historical value. A lot of people bring a picnic lunch and eat at several tables provided. Some fish as well.

If you are close you might as well stop otherwise don't go out of your way. It's full of graffiti and so is the side if the modern bridge that's next to it. It was so nice to see families swimming in the creek and having a nice time but then the graffiti takes away from it. Love the history... More
