We had read some bad reviews on the cleanliness of the lodge rooms, but were pleasantly surprised with our room. The linens were nice, the room clean and the bed comfortable. The food leaves a little to be desired. Its so close to Helen, just...More

This park is beautifully kept; we didn't see any trash or unkempt areas...it was like postcard scenery everywhere we looked. We had teens with us and not only were they not bored without electronics, they were actually interested and engaged with nature. There's a $5...More

This is a very nice state park. Well maintained. So much to do. I think we will stay at the park next time instead of in Helen. The website could use some work for reservations.

You could easily spend a full day here if not two or three. There is a large lake with a beach, zip lining, trails and Anna Ruby Falls. Very enjoyable time.

We stayed at the lodge at the park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite days of rain! We ate at the restaurant 4 different times- all great. There was a shuffleboard table in the Tavern- we hadn't played in years.. So much fun.

We love to camp here! Not far from Helen and we love to see the bears come up! They are non violent and it’s so cool 😎

We visited Unicoi State Park during a weekend at the end of July with our 9 and 12 year olds. The park was okay. It feels a little disjointed because the main road bisects the park so it isn't a park that is very walkable....More

Overall, this was a decent place to tent camp if you don’t plan to spend much time at camp. We stayed in site #51. Included pictures of #44 & #45 as well. Pros: Decent spacing between most campsites (though the lengths listed are questionable and...More

Yes they have three different types of cabins, one, two and three bedroom types. They have very unique shaped barrel cabins on the east side of the lake. All areas have grills.
