Our son loves finding rocks and what he calls treasures so we thought he would love this. Very friendly staff. We choose to do a gem bucket and a fossil bucket. Walked out spending 25 bucks. Not crowded nor did we feel rushed. Our son loved it and so did we.

We did the gem mining experience, and it was really good, especially for young kids. The price was good, and the staff was friendly. We were a bit disappointed to get there and find that they didn't have any gold to mine, despite what their web site and sign said. They moved all of the gold to their other location.... More

My son had the best time here!! He found large stones and a small ruby, moon stones etc..The lady that worked there was extremely helpful and gave us a guide on which stones were what!! A lot of fun for the whole family!

We took a four year old a six year old and two eight year olds and we all had a great afternoon. The little one enjoyed finding the gems but the older ones wanted to know about them so we all left happy. Judy was great with the kids explaining what they were finding and the history of the area... More

We had so much fun panning for gems, the boys found "treasures" we put in a mason jar on our mantle, except one piece of pink quartz the size of a softball! Plan to get wet and dirty!

If you pan the river or creeks near here you might find gold, really. This place teaches you to pan and you might find some gold or even gem stones since there panning material comes from a wide number of sources. Keeps children entertained and occasionally excited. Go, learn, have fun, and dream of your big fine; it sometimes happens.

So we brought my son here when he was 7 and he loved it. He is now 10 and for mothers day weekend we were up in Helen and decided to stop in and allow my now 10 year old son and 9 year old daughter to have a go at it. They loved it. My wife loves looking through... More

We went here because I was under the impression we could pan for gold. Gold dirt buckets were not offered to us, just gemstone buckets. I saw a family that had much different buckets than us, and they were panning gold, but we didn't see those buckets with the other ones. Long story short, I was disappointed we wasted $20... More

I was surprised to get such a great value out of this gold and gem mine! The prices were average and reasonable; the same prices as many other gem mines I've been to. I filled up 3/4 a bag of gems with just one small $20 bucket! We decided to get another bucket since it was such inexpensive fun. The... More

My children, wife and I had a great time. The owner was very friendly and more than willing to help identify our gem finds. A family bucket made for hours of fun.
