Such a fun place to take the kiddos to pan for gold and gyms. I found some really pretty quartz crystal and some genuine gold flakes. They gave me a cute tiny glass bottle for my gold.

We really enjoyed it there, the kids "panned" for gold and we looked for gems there, a very nice stop for a family on vacation

Stopped here with my 12 year old, who loves anything 'science-y' & the lady working there made the experience so much fun for him. Her energy & enthusiasm were contagious. She was also extremely knowledgeable about all of the gems.
