It is fun in the late spring and summer to watch the tubers passing underneath the Chattahoochee River bridge in Helen as they float by. On a sunny warm day, the water feels pretty cool. At other times of the year and on different sections,...More

Lots of fun! Make sure you bring a big stick or rent one from them. The water was a little low, but we had lots of fun and relaxation.

I love listening to the water as it rushes thru the middle of the town. Spraying out mist as it goes by. We went there about three years ago in the summer time.

The river runs right through the middle of town. From our hotel, the Hampton Inn, you could walk out behind just a few yards and be on the banks. There was a spot to walk down and get in, but since it was November, I...More

Was not able to float on the river, as it was October and while temps were up, the river was too cool to use. However, it was beautiful to watch from the bank. An asset to Helen.

Our cabin is right on the Chattahoochee, it's so nice to see the floats drift by and just the sound of the river while sitting out on the back Deck. Staying at Creek Side Cabin makes a vacation in Helen, even more fun.

I wish I knew. We did not go tubing. I'm sure that that information is readily available in Helen or on the internet.
