This is my first visit to Helen Georgia and definitely visiting this winery is a most. The place is lovely not only in the outside but also inside, with plenty of wine accessories and decoration. It seems there is no service or wine tasting outside because of the cold weather but we decided to try the wine tasting which is very affordable ($10 or $12 if you want to take a wineglass with you).
The experience itself is very good and our somelier did the best for giving us a good experience, thank you for that. In the tasting you try 5 samples of the different wines they carry and at the end we decided to do three wine tastings!!!
In terms of wines, these are very good light wines in terms of flavor, a totally different option in terms of wine. At the end we came put with a box with different wines, a tipsy smile and a good experience in this lovely town of Helen. Totally recommend this place, I just would suggest to have the option of food to have with your taste.

This is a wonderful Winery to visit for wine tasting and to shop. They have delicious wine. $10.00 to taste 5 wines you choose or $12.00 to taste 5 wines plus a free wineglass. They sell all kind of wine accessories. They also sell a wine slushie that is delicious

We wandered in to the winery at the end of July for a tasting. I see that there must be tours but we were not offered the opportunity for a tour. However, we had a lovely experience trying the various wines. We felt very safe and socially distant from others that were there. We also appreciated the military discount that was offered. It just came up in conversation and was applied without us even thinking to ask about one. As others have mentioned they had a nice gift shop and loved the chocolates that we had with the desert wine. We bought a bottle and also enjoyed that as well.

They were informative. But the guy who served the wine was repetitive to each person and was very cold towards my husband and I. There was no one told us that it was $13 to taste wine. I would've never done it, due to the fact that there are 3 tasting rooms down the street that are FREE. Also the other tasting rooms had very friendly staff.

Very disappointing. Arrived and were told that for a party of 6 we’d have to have order a flight instead of the tasting at the bar. We decided to go ahead and give it a try and we were each given a piece of paper with wines listed and to write our names on each sheet and mark 5 that we wanted to order. After paying $12 each we were told to take a seat outside (where the temp was 42 degrees) and someone would bring our wines out. We waited about 15 minutes before a man walked out looking around like he was confused and only had the orders for 4 of us so he had to go back in and get the other 2. After all that we were disappointed that the tastings were served in little plastic cups. The wine was not very good and we will not be back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone to waste their time and money doing this. I have done wine tastings in California numerous times, South Africa, France, Australia and Porto. I shouldn’t have thought this one would be anything like those!

I’ll start off by saying the grounds were pretty and so was the inside. However, money is green and that’s all that should matter when running a business.
I visited with family for my sisters birthday. She wanted to try a winery in the area so she called and this was one that interested her the most. Once we walked in, we were not greeted by anyone even though there were 2 ladies that weren’t busy doing anything. A brown-haired girl finally said something. We told her we were interested in wine tasting.
4/5 of us did the wine tasting and the wines were good. 2/5 bought the souvenir wine glasses. We told her we wanted to purchase a few bottles to take home as well so she directed us to Tom in the back to ring us up.
We go back to Tom and he never acknowledges us at all. I mean at all. We stood for I want to say 5 minutes acting busy and never looked up. After I started looking for the exit that’s when another girl came over and volunteered to ring us up. Honestly, we shouldn’t have bought anything but we did. I will say though that I will never go back. We clearly were not welcomed and I advise anyone else to steer clear.

Fun stop! Mary Beth poured our tasting. She was a sparkling conversationalist and wisely steered us toward wines we each enjoyed. We bought bottles to bring back to the grandparents to thank them for babysitting. Louisa, our cashier, gave us directions and sent us to Creekstone Winery next to visit her husband, Ted. Overall, a cute store and friendly spot.

My husband and I enjoyed visiting Habersham. They offer wine tasting for a cost and we found several wines that we ended up purchasing. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. If back in the area again, we would definitely make it a stop.

We stopped here on July 2. The building and grounds looked beautiful as we drove up to it. After getting out of our car and walking up, we noticed trash all around... napkins throughout the grass, empty lotion bottle. My husband picked them up and threw them away as the area looked so nice. Upon entering the large room, we were not greeted by anyone.

We got an employee's attention and asked to do a sampling. She set paper on bar and asked what ones we wanted. She was not friendly by any means. I asked her what her favorites were and she proceeded to tell me the 2 that she likes best followed by "but we are out of those". Hmmm ok! She poured each as she basically read the description off the paper in front of me. She acted annoyed that she had to spend a whole 5 minutes pouring wine samples.

During this time, our daughter went to use the restroom. When she came out she said the bathrooms were disgusting. I will spare you the details but the trash on the grounds outside was just a sneak peek into the lack of cleanliness at this establishment. We drove by numerous winery's. I wish we had skipped this one due to its' lack of cleanliness and the poor attitude of the employee. Do yourself a favor and don't bother stopping at Habersham!

This winery is one of the last stops before you pass through Helen. $10 tastings & you get a souvenir wine glass. You pick 5 samples. My wife & I sampled each other’s choices. Brought 3 bottles back home with us. Then they had these wine slushees. I saw these icee looking machines & they had blueberry pomegranate & peach muscadine slushees that we’re discounted cause of the tastings. My wife got the peach slushee. I’m not a peach guy, so I did the other one. I did try hers though & have to admit it was pretty tasty. (Maybe it was the wine talking?!)
