The check in process, which includes the ride to the river, runs like a well-oiled machine. Once in the water, is where the fun begins.... Floating is fun and relaxing, but the real show is watching human nature at its most idiotic. People attaching 4 tubes together and constantly getting stuck, people losing items, others getting stuck and ticked off, and of course those just floating off to the side to light up some weed and get high. It was two hours of entertainment, and not just because of the tubing. Definitely go on a week day if you can, as the weekends get insanely crowded. Also go with an open mind and common sense to refrain from becoming part of the herd of morons on the river with you, LOL. Would definitely do this again!!!

100% FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Cool River Tubing and Adventures was such a fun time with the family. We were traveling with teenagers and young children as well as other adults and everyone had an awesome time. The kids loved the little rapids and tubing through the town! The adults enjoyed everything about this adventure. The best part was that it was a beautiful sunny day! All smiles with this family!

Fun! Easy to purchase ticket, lockers available to rent. Gift shop and food on site. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Bus takes you to the entrance then you get out at parking lot. Definitely get the stick! Low,water and rocks on parts where you have to push off with stick. Some light rapids and a couple dips, some fast moving areas, and some slow moving spots. Pretty ride. Large tubes you sit in, no hole. Smaller tubes for kids. Water clean and clear. Some shallow areas where you can get out and walk, some deep areas too. Cool water but felt good in the sun. A lot of the ride isn’t with shade. I’d recommend

We had thought this would be a relaxing family float down the river. Especially since it is promoted as fine for small kids as long as there are adults with them. I don't think we ever floated for more the 90 seconds without getting hung up on rocks in the shallows. Maybe the water is especially low right now I don't know. At one point my 9-year-old's tube capsized in a "rapid" and he was hanging on to it and actually being held somewhat under the water for a few seconds. It was only 3 ft deep and he had a life jacket but it was still scary for him and us. We got him back in with scraped up knees and ankles but only because I bailed out of my tube and was in kind of the same hazardous situation to get him back into his. It was NOT RELAXING to do this with kids aged 9 and 5. We are grateful that we only did the one hour trip and not the longer one. We surely would have beached our tubes and abandoned it midway in that case. For big kids and adults might be a lot more fun. And yes we had the sticks but it was still challenging.

We went on a Friday. It was overcrowded and very unorganized. I capsized, along with my daughter and grandson. We got banged up on rocks and knocked down by other tubers. I lost my phone and do hope someone finds it and turns it in. We saw many people capsize this day. It is a very scary situation when other tubers keep coming and plow over you. Two wonderful girls (Casey and Brittany) stopped to help us. And another young lady and child who had cell service, so she called 911 for help. As someone else posted No one monitors the river to be sure all is safe. They need to only allow so many at a time. Then when they are down the river let more on. We will not be river tubing anytime soon or if ever again.
