If you are in the area, check these beautiful falls out! Clean restrooms, not a super long hike, well maintained trail and does get a little hard climbing up!

This is a beautiful place to visit. I couldn't make it to the top where the falls were, but just at the foot of the falls if a beautiful overlook of the river and smaller falls. The trail is paved, but very steep. The rest of my group (6 others) made it just fine to the top. They showed me... More

Its a long walk up hill to get to this fall. The good part is its all down hill back. It was very pretty. wish I knew how to add my pictures to this.

0.4 miles on a paved trail back to the falls. Not an easy walk, steep in a few spots, but they have benches along the way for those who need it. Worth the walk up. Falls are beautiful. Nice gift shop too with unique items. Just a great place. $3 per person. Not sure that I saw that anywhere prior... More

The walk to the falls is not long though parts of it are steep. We visited at the end of December and the falls were cascading nicely and it was a pleasant walk, with few others on the trail. We encountered a few volunteers (rangers?!?) on the trail who were happy to stop and chat and provide us with more... More

Once you suss out you do not have to go via Unicoi State Park visitors centre, where you need a $5 parking ticket, you will be fine.It will cost$3 per adult to enter the falls area, which is under Federal juristriction, but it is good value for money. From the car park it is 0.4 miles uphill on a paved path.It is a pull with... We drove to Anna Ruby falls after checking out Tallulah. It's 1 hour from Tallulah gorge and no coverage so if you are like me and using Google maps then download ahead of time entire map area to be safe offline. No coverage in mountains. The falls were beautiful and hike was not bad at all. Will come again!

I won't repeat the earlier comments on the beauty (yes, it's awesome) or the climb (yes, it's steep, but my favorite 73-year-old made it, walking sticks in tow). I do want to mention, however, that seniors with a National Park Pass don't need to pay the admission and that you have to drive through Unicoi State Park to access the... More
