First of all ... to get to the falls, you have to pay an entrance fee for 2 parks. You pass through a state park to get to the federal park where the fall is actually located. The path is paved, making the uphill walk easier. The weather was quite warm, but the large trees provided plenty of shade. Benches... More

Even in the drier season, it was beautiful. We forgot our hiking shoes so we proceeded in flip flops. We did fine, still suggest hiking shoes! 😊. Take a camera .... And take your time to enjoy the experience.

Easy walk up on paved trails. All along the way are information signs. The falls are beautiful. Good for family. Gift shop is nice and the rangers are friendly and a wealth of information. There's a $3/person charge since it's a national forest, ask well worth it.

We saw lots of people here--young people, old people, couples, families with young children, etc. You have to be in decent shape to hike up to the falls. It's worth it. Beautiful. Added bonus: If you're with kids have them look for spiders, birds and wildlife on the way up or down. We saw a spider the size of and... More

Even on a hot day, it is possible to enjoy a climb to the top of the Falls since the paved path is shaded for almost all of the way. There are some steep areas on the half mile to the top, but all are manageable. It is well worth going on to the top. The Falls are magnificent, dual... More

This is a fun hike. Steep hill, but not too long. The view of the falls was beautiful, and there are two observation decks. Fun for couples and families. Nice informational signs along the path, and a good gift shop.

Anna Ruby Falls is a nice hike for young ones because of the paved trail, and short distance. Otherwise.... Crowded and no place to picnic up near the waterfalls.
