Lovely!

Even in January this place was awesome. We were lucky with the good weather mid January. Nicely paved short walk to falls.

These waterfalls are a great outdoor photo opportunity. The waterfall is convenient to many mountain vacation towns in the area. Drive through Unicoi State Park to access the falls and pay the $3 per person fee (under 16 years old get in free). The paved path is fine with tennis shoes. The other hiking trails near the falls would be... More

Pretty much exactly as expected. Charged for what is tax supported! The area was well maintained although the bathroom could have used a bit of attention.

This was the second of three falls we visited on our trip and by far the prettiest. While I am extremely out of shape, I was able to pace myself and make this hike (it's only a half mile but for someone like me, it felt like longer.) Plenty of rest areas for that small distance and the end result... More

I wouldn't call this a hard walk unless you are frail or obese. Come on people has our society digressed to the point where a 0.4 mile walk up an inclined path is a journey? I saw toddlers, elderly people and overweight people making the trip with relative ease. There are several stops to rest and take pictures. Ignore reviews... More

These were very nice falls and didn't take very long to get to. Overall these are great falls for the family.

Were were here in January and had a perfect day for our walk/hike to the falls. However, while the Falls are not far from the parking area, the signs did not indicate that most of the walk was UP hill. But, still, definitely worth seeing.

We had a beautiful day and a wonderful hike, the falls are gorgeous! The trail is well maintained but I would not recommend it for anyone with foot or knee problems, there are a couple of places where there trail is slightly steep.

My husband and I visited the falls after Christmas and before New Year's. The 0.4 mile hike is steep although definitely doable. The falls are breathtaking! It is also nice to walk along the creek and enjoy the mini falls. We were shocked at how many people there were! The trail was crowded! There were screaming kids everywhere! It took... More
