I had Amanda for an 80 minute stress relief massage and she was so talented! I usually have lots of trouble relaxing, but not with her. The facilities and beautiful and they have one of everything. Sauna, stream room, cold plunge, hot tub... it was impressive and lovely. Highly recommend!

Melt your stress away. This is a place I'm putting on my calendar permanently. Had a massage and facial and enjoyed every minute--although one should at these prices. Eucalyptus steam room is a must-do! Purchase a service and stay for hours to relax!

Great massage and amenities!

I got the hot stone massage while my mother got the deep tissue massage. Both were excellent. Loved the scents and masseuses. The amenities (dressing rooms, lockers, waiting room, hot tub, ice bath, sauna, and steam room) were all very nice. Highly recommend.

Wonderful facial experience
Jun 2019 • Friends
My friends and I rented a Lake house on Lake Oconee, and she wanted me to experience a facial at The Spa at The Ritz Carlton. I was hesitant at first, but the minute you walk in until the time you leave, the staff was wonderful. I had the 80 minute facial experience, and the aesthetician, Angela, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and my skin has never looked better. My husband was I was "glowing". Would highly recommend this treatment.

Wonderful experience!

I had the anti-aging 80 minute facial, and it was such an amazing experience! My esthetician was so knowledgeable and friendly, the products she used were heavenly, and I was relaxed the entire time. Afterwards, my face was glowing! The staff is attentive and helpful, I couldn’t have asked for a better Mother’s Day gift. Totally worth the money spent!

Average Spa Experience
Nov 2018 • Couples
The spa facilities themselves were average to good of any spa in this price point (Ritz, Four Seasons, Mandarin, etc.) I did not know about the co-ed pool and hot tub area until after I left as they were not mentioned on the spa tour, which would have been nice as I was there with my husband. Facilities were clean and the attendants kept up with restocking. The area to dry your hair or do makeup was very small, 1 seat, so I left with wet hair and dried in my room as there were two women trying to use the area that only fits one.

The relaxation room where you wait for your therapist was not relaxing. Very bright for a spa and the only thing they had for hot tea or coffee was a Keurig which is not very nice but is also extremely loud anytime it's used. For a Ritz, I would expect a different setup. There were also two groups of women speaking in loud voices the entire time. Not the staffs fault but I think lower lights and a more soothing environment would remind guests of spa etiquette.

The couples massage was the worst me or my husband has ever received. We both agreed we just paid hundreds of dollars to basically have someone lightly rub cold oil on us. Personally, I asked for medium pressure with a focus on my neck and shoulders. Not once did the therapist even squeeze my shoulders but just lightly rubbed all over for about 38 mins of a 50 min massage. I wish I could remember their names so you could avoid at all costs.

The best part of this spa is it is the only (absolutely only) part of the resort that is not filled with children.

Great Service/Not so friendly attendants
Aug 2018 • Friends
My hot stone massage with Amanda was fabulous. Stress relief massage with Van was also great.
Other than that the staff was not very friendly or helpful. They stood at attention as if they were watching to be sure you didn't steal the slippers!! And they weren't attentive when we obviously needed help. The tour of the facility was perfunctory and so fast that we had to ask again about almost every detail.
Couldn't believe that the "cafe" had no attendants and no food or drink. The front desk staff were helpful when I lost my phone.

Great facility and service. A lovely place to relax and unwind. Staff was very friendly. The only negative is that it is located in a separate building and you have to walk outside to get there.

LOVELY!!!!
May 2018 • Friends
What a gorgeous spa! Lots of nice facilities. . . we particularly enjoyed the indoor pool and the hot tub by the gas fireplace in the co-ed area. The ladies’ facilities were also really lovely! Wet sauna, dry sauna, hot tub, cold plunge pool, even an outdoor balcony area where you could enjoy the weather and have a chat with your friend. The quality of the service providers were top notch, too.

No complaints! Lovely spa.

Oh, and gorgeous gym too. . . Something to be sure to take advantage of if you are staying at the Ritz.
