A great venue with lots of live entertainment and variety of beer! 🍺 The atmosphere is friendly and you can play darts 🎯 or bean bag or just hang out. Plus sports TV on the big screen/wall. Is a bonus.

This is a neat old mill building that was made in to a happen place! They ran out of flights so that made it hard to try different beers! We attended the Guns N Roses band event and it was busy place! Food Truck was good and reasonable, the best fried pickles ever! We were here from Florida to attended the Georgia Game! We will be back!! 😬

Great beer at a great place
Jul 2019 • Couples
We went on the 4th of July. It was not crowded, the beer was delicious (among the 4 of us, we sampled a high percentage of what was on tap), the employees were nice and helpful, and there are darts and cornhole to play while one sips. Great place!

Great Beers and I am not Even a Beer Drinker!
Apr 2019 • Couples
My husband and I were in the area camping and thought we would take a visit to Greensboro and had seen information about this brewery. We decided to do 2 flights so we could taste as many of the beers possible and maybe find one we each liked. Well, we ended up liking almost all of them and that never happens! I usually find one and then end up ordering a glass. This time we both enjoyed so many that we ended up finishing off all the tasting glasses. We have been to many breweries and wineries in our day and it is unusual for us to like several. Of course, everyone has their own tastes and likes and I find I do not like beer as hoppy but there are good options. They even had a new Bourbon brew which though I do not like Bourbon, it was actually good.. My husband drank all that one :)

Go and you will find some you like for sure. The grounds seem awesome too for an event. They were preparing for an event so we just sat at the small bar and enjoyed our visit with everyone there.

We will be back when in the area!

Nice addition to the area
Dec 2018 • Family
We visted for the first time on a rainy cloudy day in December so our visit was all inside. My son started with a 4 beer flight and I decided on the "Hey Man" blonde ale. Everything we tried was good and the bar area, although not very large, was clean and open.

We've toured micro breweries all over the country and while you can look around all you want there is no structured tour. The bartender, however, will answer any questions you might have and was very knowledgeable about the beer making process.

Good job. We will definitely return on a prettier day and bring some of our friends.

A gorgeous setting for craft beer
Oct 2018 • Couples
Independent craft brewers across the nation have made it their thing to repurpose old industrial building for breweries and taprooms. In that sense, Oconee BC is nothing new, but for whatever reason, I was thoroughly taken by the gorgeous, spacious interior. Ditto for outside area. There is plenty of space to stretch out, and even though they do not serve food (some snacks for sale at the bar excepted), you can bring some in. We made a picnic of it--complete with tasty snacks from the market down the street (great produce!) and some cards.

The excellence of the ambiance has its match in the service and the beer. The bearded fellow working the bar on the Saturdays we visited is friendly and recognized us after only our second visit. How about that for local service?

If you're like me and prefer an IPA with a nice caramel-malt base, theirs is for you. But the best thing I can say about their beer is the kolsch-style beer does not suck. Perhaps it's the delicacy of the style's flavor, but I have had many from small indy brewers that are sad, watered-down affairs. Oconee's had that wonderful combination of full (albeit delicate) flavor while still being light, crisp, and drinkable.

I won't go crazy and say their brews rival the excellence and creativity of Creature Comforts down the road in Athens (for transparency, I live in Athens and consider CC one of the best in Georgia), but I will pay Oconee BC the supreme compliment of saying I would much prefer to drive the forty minutes to Greensboro to have a beer there than to drive the mere ten minutes to have one at CC. I like the place that much.

So well done, Oconee BC. You keep brewing them, and I'll keep drinking them.

Great beer and great atmosphere
Nov 2017 • Friends
This is a great place to enjoy some craft beers. A flight is $10 to help you find your favorite beer. The facility has picnic tables, a bar and a patio. There is corn hole, a projection TV, darts and lots of games. Atmosphere is friendly and local. Tonight there was a great country band. Although they don’t have food, you can bring your own, but tonight pizza was available through an independent caterer.
