Fish Tales Water Sports was so helpful from the moment we stepped into the floating rental boat until we left with our 'stuff' up the plank! Maddie got us signed up and instructions given in little time. On to the pontoon with safety briefing before we could leave. Very efficient. Even with the lake 9 feet below normal, it was... More

We (myself and 4 other girlfriends) had a great experience renting a pontoon from Fish Tales. Maddie was wonderful in going over the paperwork and then the operation of the boat. We rented midweek and we practically had the lake to ourselves. The pontoon was in like new condition (with the exception of a broken ladder...not their fault). We will... More

Professional staff, nice boat, no issues. We had a good time. We had never driven a boat before and the staff was very helpful explaining everything to us.The best time to come out to Lake Lanier is during the weekday; nice and quiet.

We rented a pontoon from another company two years ago so we were very excited to take our family this time for a great experience. Instead we got there and the boat was small for 12 people and in very rough shape. It was also governed down so much that a dingy passed us like we were sitting still and... More

Booking a 4-hour weekend pontoon rental Groupon was INCREDIBLY difficult. Their online booking/availability tool is completely useless. Worse, almost every time we called we had to leave a voice mail and wait for a call back or try several times to get someone to answer the phone. I called before purchasing the Groupon to confirm availability, then couldn't reach anyone... More

The pontoon we rented was in bad shape; torn seats and quite old. We were provided with a mini pad for navigation; this does not provide any information as to depth which is something you really want to know when navigating in waters that may have hazards ap or sandbars that are not visible when piloting the boat. Had a... More

This was our second time renting a pontoon. Once last year and once this year. The quality of boats have gone way down. The pontoon we were given this year had torn upholstery, the middle table was wobbly, there was mildew/mold all over the vinyl seat covers, and the ladder was tied together with a blue rope. The motor had... More

We love Fish Tales! This was our second time renting a pontoon boat and it was so much fun. Reasonable rates and 4 hours is a perfect amount of time. We will definitely come back.

We went as a surprise for the kids, ages 6 and 10. Everyone had a blast. The guys running it were so polite and helpful. We got a two hour weekly rental on Groupon and would definitely go again. Very organized and well ran. If you rent one for family to share if dock is not busy you can bring... More
