We have a cabin up in Ellijay and was looking for something to do. Came across Mountain Valley Farm and thought we would check it out. We were up there over the long 4 th of July weekend. We bought some things to try including the grass fed filet. I finally cooked one up last night and I cannot tell... More

Can't say enough about this farm. The care of the animals, their products, especially the meat and variety is top notch. The meat is from grass fed, free roaming cows. If you have never tried fresh milk or butter, you are missing out. The best steak ever. Other products sauces, pickles, cookbooks and more. Goats, pigs, rabbits are in the... More

Although our main purpose is shopping in the farm store, we do however love to watch our grandchildren react with the farm animals. This year there was no Miss Wanda. She has moved on. She is missed dearly. There was no one there at the time we arrived so children couldn't hold baby bunnies, chicks, etc. but as said quality... More

Grass fed beef with instructions on how to cook. Bought goat cheese, Gouda, salami, and peach salsa. Ice cream was great. Had the maple bacon ice cream which was some of the best I have had. 10 different favors. Off the beaten path in a picturesque farm setting. Small animal area with goats, bunnies, horse, and calf that kids could... More

This was a pretty little farm/country store. We were starving when we arrived, hoping they had more of a food selection to eat at the picnic tables out front. They didn't have much grab & go food except for ice cream. The ice cream was delicious, but we were hoping for something a little more filling. The people there were... More

It was a nice drive out to the farm store. Wasn't very big, however had nice items to choose from. We caught some pickles, pork and caramel. All were great. we would have tried the ice cream, but were still full from lunch. The goats were fun to watch.

If you are expecting more than a few animals and nice views, don't stop. My daughter (3 year old) loved it though.

We go here every time we are in Georgia to buy our fresh Beef, Pork Chops, Ham steaks and ground sausage. I have never had better!!! We even buy enough to take back to Florida!! The rolled butter is delish!! Fresh eggs are wonderful- and do not pass up the Old fashioned ice cream!
