About
This is not just a family business. This is our heart & home. We want to share it with you. "We are dedicated to bringing you products of the highest quality year round and providing your family with an experience of old-fashioned fun on the farm that will bring lasting memories." After working in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, Duncan Criscoe and his wife Angela decided it was time to begin a business that would offer high quality products at a reasonable price, but more than anything, bring back the customer experience that has been lost over the years. Every product that is offered by Crooked Pines Farm has been thoroughly researched and chosen based on the care and effort that went into the raising and harvesting of the product. Crooked Pines is the farm that has been in the family since 2006. The 82 acre tract is home to abundant wildlife. It has been carefully maintained to offer the wildlife every opportunity to thrive. It's a blessing to have the opportunity to use this tract to provide neighbors, friends and your family an experience of old-fashioned fun. We hope to be a part of your family traditions. We look forward to serving you when you visit our family farm. If you have any comments or product requests, please contact us and we will be happy to research your request and see if we can provide a product to meet your needs. We offer Farm Tours with hay rides, petting farm, crafts, country store, and other seasonal festivals/events.

Drove by Crooked Pines Farm and saw a for sale sign out front and the logo sign for the farm is falling down and coming apart. According to their Facebook page, all their events since last fall have been cancelled. Looks like Crooked Pines Farm is no more.

Sad
Dec 2016 • Family
This was a great facility for the area. There was always some sort or family friendly event going on. The owners and the people that worked there were always friendly and fun. Fortunately for the owners from what I hear they are retiring. Sad for the community at large. Hopefully someone special will pick up where they left off.

Amazing space away from the crowds
May 2017 • Family
Lovely luxury barn with enough amenities to keep everyone from 2 years old to 100 busy. Pastoral setting with miniature horses, pot bellied pigs, friendly goats and more wildlife. The space is well appointed and was perfect for our small family gathering. We have decided that hosting a family event off premises is a great idea as everyone can relax and enjoy. No worries about set up, clean up etc... Duncan made our outing truly special.

Not Good AT ALL for Large Events
Mar 2016 • Family
Went to Crooked Pines Farm for the tiny house festival in March 2016. ALL toilets were backed up & ALL bathrooms were closed. The owner only had 6-8 portable toilets brought in for thousands of people and some of those were closed by Saturday night and all day Sunday due to being full. No parking at all! Everyone had to park in a muddy pasture across a dangerous 2 lane road from the farm where some cars got stuck and one car was hit in its side. Everyone had to then cross the 2 lane road and dodge timber trucks and vehicles racing by at high speeds to get to the farm. The tiny house event was fun, but it was put on by an outside group and not the farm. The farm is very pretty and is probably nice for parities, smaller events and weddings, but it is not geared for large festivals such as the tiny house festival we attended.

Small but pleasant
Oct 2016 • Family
This farm was nice. I think it's geared more towards the weddings than the petting farm. But it was great for us. Our kids are 9&11 so this was something we meant to do when they were younger, but we still enjoyed it. It was actually nice and quick visit. We picked pumpkins and panned for gems and had a hay ride. Would have been nicer if there had been more animals to experience. But very nice people.

Amazing Host Location for 5th Annual Nomadness Reunion BBQ
Jul 2016 • Business
Looking to change up the vibe of this years Summer BBQ, my travel collective, Nomadness hosted our annual event at Crooked Pines Farm. Taking over the barn the staff went above and beyond to help set things up and get our gathering off to a flying start. It was spacious enough for 250+ people with room to spare. This was my first time dealing with Crooked Pines Farm and I would surely do it again.

Great summer camps
Jun 2016 • Family
My daughter has attended many Crooked Pines Summer camps over the years. Duncan has a talent for selecting very responsible, kind and talented young people people as staff.

Apr 2016 • Family
We had our daughters wedding reception at Crooked Pines. We were very well pleased with the venue and the staff. Duncan and Tiffany were excellent to work with us during the planning of the reception and our guests were really enjoyed the reception.

Great Place for picking up a Christmas Tree
Dec 2015 • Family
These guys have only been around for a few years and each year they get better. They do more than just Christmas trees! Nice local produce is available year round. Worth the fifteen minute trip from Greensboro as the trees are fresh and beautiful.

Great venue for parties
Nov 2014 • Couples
Duncan Criscoe has created a very nice barn for any type of gathering. A fun place for both indoor and outdoor activities. Both private and public events are hosts here. Parking is on gravel so ladies, don't come in 3 inch heels.
