Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze is a extraordinary outdoor farm and family friendly establishment! We were impressed by the size, options and quality of the activities they have in one location beginning with the parking. The maze itself is laid out with creative detail and is well groomed and decorated with good signage and observation bridges to keep moving in the right direction; well most of the time, which led to some good laughter in our family and others nearby. This could keep kids busy for hours of wholesome fun, adults as well. I liked the challenge of the checkpoints and the children liked the various shaped hole punches at each checkpoint and the feeling of accomplishment at each one found and multiple goofy entertaining photo op's. Fall is perfect for a wagon ride, which is also a good opportunity to get off your feet for a while an enjoy the farm scenery and a river view. No farm is complete without some animals and crop and the pumpkins and goats were delightful. I have to admit the corn cannon was my favorite. Not many things as gratifying as shooting an automobile with a cannon! There are so many activities that come with the price of admission, to many to list in a short review. The refreshment options are multiple and it was good we didn't have to leave to go get a meal since we stayed so long having good clean country fun! We'll be back! PKP

We went today and had a blast. There are activities for all ages, including a mini corn maze for the little kids. I think you need to be at least 7 to really enjoy the big corn maze, if you want to do the whole thing. The concession stands were good. The corn cannon is pretty hilarious - you’re shooting ears of corn into a field and you can aim for an old car. They have a nice pumpkin selection that includes some pretty heirloom varieties.

Great fun with my grandson!!
Uncle Shucks was open all last week. I took my grandson. He played his heart out.
We had to get a funnel cake that was out of this world. We went back for chicken tenders and pumpkin rolls. I couldn’t believe my grandson ate 2 pumpkin rolls so I took a few home with us and pumpkin bread. Now we just go for food and the trampoline for the kiddos. If you visit I strongly recommend taking your appetite. The food truck has anything you can imagine. Everything I’ve tried has been out of this world including the fried apple pies that taste like the kind my grandma use to make.
Thank you for all your hard work

I have previously reviewed Uncle Shucks but wanted to review again as we had another great experience two years later! We went at night this time to see the "haunted maze" and were so glad we did because it was awesome. The regular maze is shaped like a butterfly this year with two halves and outside the butterfly is a haunted maze. It was a few bucks more to do both, but way worth it. I would not recommend the haunted part for children with light hearts. Our 9 year old daughter almost had a panic attack when the chainsaw man chased her. If you like to be scared, check it out! The food was great as always and very reasonable. We got a hotdog, funnel cake, carmel apple, and two bottled sodas for $12. It was $15 each to do the regular maze (butterfly shape - 2 sides) as well as the haunted maze. BRING A FLASHLIGHT if you go at night. You can't use it in the haunted maze but you need one to do the regular maze. They rent them for $2 if you forget but you will need one. Pumpkins were great as usual, porter johns were clean and never a wait. The ticket lines were about 10 minutes long but it was a Saturday night and beautiful weather. Everything was awesome! Can't wait until next year.

Me and my husband and my two little boys who were two and five went to Uncle Shuck's last October. It was okay but I most definitely think this is for older children and adults mainly. It took us about an hour and a half or maybe close to two hours to go throw the whole corn maze and both of my kids were bored with it and ready to leave. Me and my husband were joking that you needed a GPS system to get through the maze. This is just my personal opinion of Uncle Shuck's.

Terrific Corn Maze i's a novelty for kids, but the side activities need help. Wish they had nicer 'stuff' to do outside the Maze.

We had been to Uncle Shuck's corn maze before and had enjoyed it. We went again last week with our 6 year old granddaughter - what a disaster. We went on Friday but then so did most of Forsyth County as schools were out! One person was in charge of admissions, paying for the pumpkins and pretty much everything else. The line was long and remained so for all the time we were there. It was a hot day, into the 80s, yet no food or drink was available. The concession stand which usually sells hot dogs, funnel cakes, drinks and and pretty much everything else was closed! No explanation was offered when we queried this. Did they not know schools were out in their own county? This shows poor management. But no food or drink is absurd.
Even the maze seemed tatty this year, as if they are resting on their laurels from previous years. And we had promised our granddaughter a pony ride as she has had before, but of course this year there were no ponies, just the area where they usually are. Will not visit here again and will find another source of Halloween fun.

Watch out for the corn snakes! Not poisonous, but scary. Great fun for families. Drive a little further and get some apples and fried apple pies.

If you are looking for a fun adventure, look no more. The Corn Maze is a lot of fun and has food, plenty of parking and you can stay there for hours.

Fun place to visit but a little pricey for a family. The haunted maze is a little scarey for my 8 yr old so beware. The hayride and bonfire are nice. I do go every October or November, it has become a family tradition. The lines in October are very long but they do move quickly.
