We were so disappointed. We chose to stay here based on the outstanding reviews. Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky. It took us a while to find Victor once we arrived. He was disheveled and stated he wasn't feeling well...understandable. He also appeared to have no clue we were staying the night. The wine tasting, which we were looking for to, was something he didn't provide...when I asked about, he instead offered a bottle of wine, which was fine, but certainly not the tasting we desired. He basically gave us our room key and disappeared. The Inn itself is beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good in the morning. Overall, the cold reception and not have the wine tasting cast a dark cloud over our experience.

Boutier Winery is the WORST winery we've been to in Georgia and we've been to 30+ wineries over the last 25 years of living here. We purchased a bottle of "Let the Big Dawg Drink" a cabernet/merlot blend recently from Boutier. We opened it to discover it was CARBONATED and disgusting. I have attached pictures to this review. Victor, the owner, didn't properly age this wine and bottled it prematurely so it underwent a secondary fermentation. The sample we tried at the winery bore no resemblance to the bottle we received. We reached out to Victor multiple times to discuss our concerns, and he has completely ignored every inquiry. He clearly doesn't stand behind his products and his winemaking skills and customer service are obviously lacking. Take your business elsewhere.

We stopped here near the end of a long day's drive to enjoy a wine tasting with Victor along with a friendly chat. Victor is the consummate host, very welcoming. We love to stop at wineries when we travel. This stop was as enjoyable and the wines as delicious as we've found anywhere in our travels. Not hard to find but off the beaten path if you're looking for a quiet B&B hideaway and winery. We were fortunate to also see the vineyard wrapped in a beautiful morning fog.
You'll love this stop.

What could be better than a winery with a Bed and Breakfast on the property? We were very surprised because we didn't expect much in a place as small as Danielsville. The owner, Victor, is wonderful. His wines are great, and the amenities were wonderful. He cooks a mean breakfast, as well! Since this is in close proximity to UGA, the state botanical gardens, and Watson Mill Covered Bridge, is is a good choice for many reasons. We will be going back, for no other reason than to re-visit the winery and the inn.

Got a deal off of Living Social for a wine tasting for two here at Boutier Winery. My boyfriend and I had so much fun! This was our first wine tasting and a great introduction to different wines and a fun experience for both of us. We definitely recommend it! Our favorite wine was the Diva 'Licious, we just had to take a bottle of it home!

After reading all the reviews I was looking forward to my tasting but a little concerned about the atmosphere. upon arrival I could not understand the reviews that said that the fear was boring for with anything but boring; it was charming. the tables with their cute white laced table top were striking and very European in nature. The variety of wines were interesting and quite tasty. something for everyone's taste. The host and hostess were fantastic and much fun. the cheese plate with chocolates what a wonderful compliment to the wines. my mother and her friends both in the 80's enjoyed themselves as well my friend did as well.we all had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again.

Visited Boutier Winery today with our Living Social voucher. Everything was exactly as represented, the winery is lovely, the wines very creative and perhaps the best we've had in north Georgia (and I think we've tried them all!), and Mary and Victor couldn't be more personable and accommodating. (Were we really there nearly two hours?!) Well worth the hour and a half drive, and we'd visit often if they were closer.

We are from SC and decided on Boutier Winery for our son's rehearsal dinner based on his fiance's recommendation! We cannot say enough about Mary, Victor, the wine and the winery!! If you are searching or a wedding, brunch, shower or party venue, then don't look further!! This place is perfect!! Mary is as warm and welcoming as any person I have ever met in my life!! If you go by, please tell her hey from me and enjoy a wonderful glass of wine! The Georgia Peach is my favorite! Easy to get to off of Exit 149 off of 85.

Mary was our hostess for our tasting. She was very fun and knowledgeable. They offer a large selection of wines. My husband prefers dry reds and I prefer semi sweet whites. We found many we both liked. We purchased several bottles and the prices are quite reasonable. Would highly recommend this winery.
