Neat little theater

This is a neat little theater. My wife and I saw a show and had a good time. Everyone there was friendly and it seemed clean and well kept.

Just moved into area. Attended "Riders In the Sky" earlier and entered Holly Theater for the first time. Great job of updating and yet keeping the flavor of an earlier "movie hall." Basically the theater is operated by volunteers and easy to see their pride in the Holly. Just saw the local theater production of "Cabaret." Again an enjoyable evening... More

I live in NE GA and have been to Dahlonega, GA many times over the past 40 years but I had never been to the historic Holly Theater until last Saturday afternoon and what a treat it was! We went to see "Riders in the Sky" perform...which was totally awesome and a surprise to see such a great bunch of... More

Just saw a live performance of the classic Miracle on 34th st. The players did a good job the house was sold out at $34 bucks for 2 of us what a deal! It is small and intimate there is a small balcony, however try to sit on main floor you will be able to hear better. Worth a visit,... More

We went to see 'The Miracle on 34th Street.' The theater is small, but we loved it! We were in the third row, but it looked like there wasn't a bad seat in the house, unless ac actor was speaking too softly. It's a great place to see community theater.

We saw Johnny Cash Returns last night. What a treat! It it an intimate venue and the performers were all top notch. They were an outstanding cover band and Johnny sang all of the Cash favorites. The bass guitarist was extremely talented as were the 2 trumpets and the bass fiddle. The four part harmony of the Carter sisters was... More

Attended last night's performance of the play "Smoke On The Mountain." It was great fun, with a talented cast and lots of audience interaction. The advantage of a small theater is that you're close to the action on stage. The story was entertaining, and the music enjoyable. This was a great production that warmed my heart and tickled my funny... More

Fabulous musical- great show! Can't believe we can see talent like that so close to our Gainesville home. Decided to go today and still able to get great seats at $20 each!

Quaint, throwback to the old days! Love the movies and the live theater as well. It's just off the square and is a local icon.

This old theater is definitely an antique! It's really fun to see a play or a movie. It's just like walking back in time. Great rainy day standby!
