Cumming is blessed to have such a phenomenal facility. The instructional/therapy pool is excellent for workouts and classes, while the competition pool is perfect for those long swims. The staff is friendly and makes every day a joy to swim.

We love the Cummings aquatic center! There's a pool/ splashing zone for the younger kids, a lazy river and one slide. The aquatic center is not very big and you can watch your child without constantly running after them😁. It's a fun place on a hot day, your child will love!

I recently enrolled my children 3 and 5 in the preschool 1 swim lessons. During the 1st lesson, my 3 year old stepped off of the ledge and fell into the water. The instructor was in the pool with a child, while the life gaurd was watching the kids on the ledge. After my child fell in the water, I yelled "Help him", no one turned around. THankfully, I was able to scream, jump off the bleachers, run and jump into the water and pull my child out of the water. The life gaurd asked " he ok?". Never checked him, never apologized. I say my prayers everyday thanking the Lord that I was not in the bathroom, checking my phone, not paying attention because who knows how long it would have been before my baby was rescued. NO one from the center reached out to me except the teacher. She profusely apologized. Please pay attention to your child always, even in this controlled environment.

I love the Silver Sneakers exercise program offered at the Cumming Aquatic Center. I have PPMS and really the only thing I can do about it is to exercise to keep MS from paralyzing me. The problem for me and others is that the building isn't accessible because the there isn't enough handicap parking during the M-F 10am and 11am senior classes or in the summer months when the outdoor pool is open . I would love to know who is in charge of the CAC to see if we can work together to allow accessibility to all the Forsyth County residents to use the CAC. I can easily be gotten hold of because I am there 2-3 times a week. Thank you!

This is a great community pool - clean and spacious, bright and visible (easy to keep your eyes on children that are good swimmers, with a perfect area for little tykes and a fun slide. Indoor swimming as well. Covered areas make it great for small parties as well.

I have had a family pass to the Cumming Aquatic Center for two years and we spend a ton of time here during the summer. When it first opened this place was great! At times it could get crowded but it was always manageable. Fast forward to 2015 and it was out of control. To the point that if you were not in line 30 minutes or more before it opened you could forget about getting a chair or even a spot by the pool to put your own chairs. We did not renew our family passes for 2016. They changed their policy of allowing you to bring your own drinks inside. No toys are allowed in the pool for kids. Then probably the most IRRITATING thing about this place are the swim sessions. If you show up in the morning and hope to spend a day at the pool, think again. At 2:00 they make everyone pack up their stuff and leave. You then have to get back in line and pay to re-enter the pool at 2:30 and the fight for a spot starts all over.
Crowds - EXTREMELY CROWDED! The lazy river used to be fun. Now between the kids pushing and kicking their way through and it being so packed that you're elbow to elbow and not fun. Parents need to control their kids so that everyone can have an enjoyable time. I don't mind jumping and splashing around but there's being a kid and being a little jerk. I blame the parents. The life guards are spending so much time trying to correct behavior that I have no idea how they keep an eye on the water.
Swim lessons - they're a joke! At least the class my daughter was in was. Don't waste your money here!

We got a membership last summer 2015, and the kids really enjoyed this place. I would recommend staying no longer than 2 hrs. Kids will get burned out after a few days if you go a lot and then won't want to go back. All in all it is definitely worth the money.
