Review of: Bites of Uptown Food Tour in Columbus
We have previously been on food tours in Greenville, South Carolina and Asheville, North Carolina and enjoyed both of them very much and would highly recommend either of them. We were very disappointed with the Columbus food tour. Our tour guide was excellent and was very informative giving us historical facts and recommendations for restaurants. Our tour began at My Boulange where we had a small salad and a French cookie. It was a neat place and the salad was good. Next was a chain Greek restaurant where we had a few feta fries and a small cup of water. We had a sample bite of fudge from a candy store , a flavored coke from a variety store, a tablespoon sample of ten different juices at a juice store, a small slice of pizza without anything to drink while sitting outside on a cement wall, and finished with a chilled coffee and a piece of chocolate chip cookie at a coffee shop. This food tour was totally different from the other two tours we had taken for the same price.…

I had a great time on the haunted history tour. Our tour guide Elise was wonderful and we had the opportunity to drink vampire chai lattes while we were on our walk. The lattes were delicious and as a history buff I enjoyed learning more about the history of Columbus and the tragedies that shaped the town. Definitely recommend to anyone who is in the area.…

I have lived in Columbus my entire life but never done anything like this before. I was looking for something different to do for a fun date night and this was it! Definitely great for history fans and fans of supernatural. Also great for something new to do in our old town.

I don’t usually write reviews, but we spent over $200 to do this food tour with our son who had just completed boot camp thinking it would be a fun way to see Columbus & try some good restaurants. Wrong. We started at My Boulangrie which was wonderful, but the other food stops were: a juice bar, a greasy college pizza place & a chain Greek restaurant for feta fries. Yuck. To make matters worse, our guide showed us “great places to eat” as we walked by And didn’t go into any of them. I’d like a refund. It was that bad.…

Review of: Bites of Uptown Food Tour in Columbus
I am from Atlanta metro area but I went on the Food Tour with guide, Asher, Saturday morning. It was wonderful! The choices of establishments were varied and unique. Everything from a French patisserie to a juice bar, to a Greek luncheon and many other interesting places and information. The tour was a mixture of not only sampling good food, but included many historical stories which helped to shape a rich image of Columbus. Tourists, as well as some locals, are not be aware of much of the history that has happened in Columbus. Truly a worthwhile adventure if you are looking for something unique to do in Columbus. I will go again!…
