Way Too Expensive
May 2020
Today is 30 May 2020 and the price of bowling at Bowlero in Columbus, GA is $6.19 per game, before 6pm and over $7 per game after 6pm. Shoe rental is over $5 per person. Food and drink prices are outrageous as well and you can imagine how much and "arcade" play might cost. So for a family of just 3, it's $70.71 to bowl three games, then factor in food/snacks and drinks, and you're sure to spend around $100 in one trip, IF you go before 6pm. This is pretty excessive when you consider that the literature you find online suggests the average cost of bowling should be around $2.50 per game. Heck, even $3.00 per game would be alright with me. I guess now it's easy to understand why there's hardly anyone bowling when we visit. It's a shame, because the facility is really nice and preferable to us over Stars and Strikes (the only alternative) where things can get a little wild and chaotic. Unfortunately, it's cheaper to bowl at Stars and Strikes, so that's where we go.

Cool place okay service. I didn't get all the information I needed. We went to our lane and leftover food was there and spilled liquid all over the seats and floors.

Did not know it cost an arm and a leg to bowl
Feb 2020
Went in and got shoes.5 dollar a pair to rent. Charge children the same as adults. 5.99 a game each. Scoring system does not work. You can knock down 6 pins and scores 9.Cast 74 dollars for 2 games for 2 adults and 2 children.I guess bowling is not for the family to do weekly anymore.

Snowy day bowling
Jan 2019 • Family
We went to Bowlero for an afternoon of fun on a snowy day. The lanes and seating areas were great. The prices are reasonable for shoes and games. They have a full service snack bar and beverage bar. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. We'll be back soon!

Not worth it
Aug 2018 • Friends
It's a nice location but not worth the visit, they charge per person per game. First time that we've ever seen that. Any other state that we've gone bowling a game is a game it does not matter how many people play in it. So yeah its very expensive if you're going with the family. 4 ppl 2 games $88 if you're on a budget look elsewhere. We also ordered a pizza, wait for it over an hour and when it finally came out they gave it to the family next to us. Terrible service, you need to chase the servers for 15 mins to order wait 1 hour for the food to arrive and hopefully they don't give it to someone else. I wanted to check the place out to see if it was worth recommending it to the guests that stay in the hotel I work at.

Too overpriced
Mar 2018 • Family
Sixty dollars for 2 games of bowling for 3? Not a very budget friendly place. And why would military discount end at 5pm?? Most are working or in class until 5, very unfair policy. Yes it was an inviting atmosphere but price left us feeling like ordering food etc was insane.

Fun time
Oct 2017 • Friends
Around Town was treated to a wonderful day by the Bowlero’s friendly staff, and we had the good fortune of sampling some of the new menu items that will be featured. The Super Cheesy sliders were my personal favorite, but the regular sized burgers like the Cravin’ Bacon and The Monster were also out of this world. The Chi-Town Mega Dog brings the classic Windy City taste to the area. Huge portions are the theme, and the giant 5 lb. burger, the five layer pizza cake (and cupcakes), and 2-foot long dog were just the tip of the iceberg. The dessert menu is heaven for any sweets lover, with the Monster Cookie Melt, Sweet Belgian Waffle Fries, and Sprinkled Ice Cream sandwiches all made fresh and delicious.

Saturday Afternoon Bowling
Aug 2017 • Friends
Arrived around 5:15 on a Saturday afternoon. Efficient check in and shoe rental. Kind of expensive. The lanes were in good shape and there were plenty of bowling balls to choose from. The big screens over each alley were distracting at times. We wished we could have turned them off. Also, the music was WAY too loud and not to everybody's taste. All in all the 3 of us spent $130.00 for 5 games and some snacks.

Great Time
Jul 2017 • Couples
Visited this place yesterday and had an absolute blast. Shoe rental was about $4.50 each. Games $5.50/person at the regular rate. They have lots of specials on almost every night so check out their website for the best deals! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful, and we had great service at the shoe counter, the snack counter, and from our waitress. They have 48 lanes and at about 6pm went to blacklights with different movies and sports projected above the lanes. A pitcher of bud light ran us $14, and gave us about 5.5 pints - not sure if this was a special or not. The outside could use a little work, but the inside is very nice and clean. Restrooms were clean. They also had laser tag, an arcade, and a couple pool tables. The bar had several beers (5-6?) on tap. We had chicken tenders (came with 6) and fries ($8) from the snack bar and they were delicious. Some of the food on the menu seemed a little overpriced, but we thought what we ordered was a good value. Overall, we had a lot of fun and thought everything about the bowling set-up was great, so we plan on returning!
