Bought a kayak and multiple water gear from them. I was actually surprised to see that their prices were very competitive. I love the idea of buying local and great service is a plus. They also rent kayaks and have organized kayaking trips.

The staff here are friendly and helpful from the moment you walk into the store. Whether you are experienced in the sport you're gearing up for or have no experience at all, they know how to talk to their customers and give them the advice they need. They also have a nice variety of popular gear and clothing brands such as Yeti, GoPro, ENO, Chacos, JetBoil, Patagonia and more! I will definitely be giving Outside World Outfitters my business and referring everyone to them.

I rented kayaks from them before and paddled the chattahoochee river. That was a fun time. I also have done a moon light kayak paddle with them at Lake Oliver. I suggest if u decide to do the moon light paddle to know that it will work u out. It's a hour plus of straight paddling.

I had an amazing experience recently when I came in to browse SUPs. I had many many questions and talked to four different staff members, all of whom were friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up custom ordering the right board for me and they even offered to let me borrow one until mine arrived! Highly recommend. Much better than buying from the Internet.

The advice I received from the staff at Outside World when I prepared for my 2013 Appalachian Trail hike was impressive. I made some key purchases and all the equipment was excellent.
