Columbus did a great thing in making the river walk. It's a great place to take the family to see the sights or just get out and exercise. Bikes, running or walking. Plenty of room for everyone. Except... crime. Not policed enough lately. People being hassled by criminals or not cases showing up naked to freak out women. I will... More

11 scenic miles of biking, joging or walking trails with rapids, blue herron rookery, zip line, whitewater rafting, and more. Near the Confedetate Naval Museum, the National Infantry Museum, Coca Cola Space Science Center, and more.

I like this place a lot. It is not quite complete, but eventually it will run from North Columbus uninterruptedly to Fort Benning. People are friendly and it gives easy access to Columbus's lovely downtown and its shops.

This is an incredible park area. You stroll along the Chattahoochee River and it is beautiful. I loved all the old, historic buildings. It is really wonderful to come out here in the mornings and take a nice walk. Loved it.

We went and walked along the riverwalk for a few hours. The area we went to was near the university and had access to the rocks near the water. There were many people walking in the area and some people were in kayaks in the rapids area. I will say i wish there were restaurants near the water for easy... More

The river walk stretch's for miles along the Chattahoochee toward Ft. Benning. Very nice and relaxing. Love the historical markers along the route discribing how the area developed and its significance during the civil war as a primary transportation hub. Feel safe walking, always a police presence. Thank you, Columbus PD.
