Old Skool Concert
Apr 2018 • Friends
I have had the pleasure of going to several concerts at Wolf Creek when the tickets were $35 for the lawn...love the lawn seating, bring your own lawn chair, food, drinks and cooler, but be careful of your cooler size, the smaller the better. I saw people be turned around with big coolers or they were unpacking them and handing the food and drinks off to friends and taking the cooler back to the cars. Hope they didn't walk too far. Try to get there early for good parking or be prepared to walk...not bad of a walk through. Also, depends on who is performing, I've seen people walking down Merk Rd before. I usually get there a couple of hours before the concert starts and set up my spot with friends (make sure you have cool friends with you, NO BOUGIE PEOPLE ALLOWED). You can bring an umbrella to block the sun, but you will need to put them down at a certain time (don't worry security will let you know to bring them down). There are food and drink vendors as well as vendors selling appeal. I try to leave before the concert ends, just to get a jump on the traffic exiting. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!!!

Nice venue
Aug 2018 • Friends
Overall the venue is nice. They should consider replacing the reserved chairs. The parking was not bad for us only because we parked in the handicap section. However, we purchased a fast lane pass not to have to stand in line and there was no such lane at that entrance. We had to walk to the main gate.

The event staff members were nice and professional except one dude who said who does Damien Escobar think he is asking for a golf cart to transport him and his family. He said they need to put on their sneakers and walk. We had been waiting in line for 30 minutes or more. Actually missing half of Boney's act. His comments and actions or lack there of was disrespectful to the artist and the fan.

Parking Nightmare!!!
Aug 2018 • Couples
I went to see Boney James last night at Wolf Creek Amphitheater. I left my house 2 hours before the concert start time and I live 35 minutes from the amphitheater. I sat down in my seat 1 hour AFTER the concert began. I have been to a lot of concerts in my life and I have never seen a more unorganized parking situation - EVER! cars were lined up for miles and at one point we were told to do a U turn to go to another location, which was a field, a mile away. Wolf Creek cannot accommodate all of the people they charge (high prices) and their vehicles. The venue, once you get inside is fine but getting there is laborious and extremely stressful. As another reviewer mentioned, the shuttle buses were scarce and not efficient. They were stuck in the gridlock of cars so if you chose to wait, and not walk from the random field, you would arrive much later. Because of the lack of organization, we missed half of the show. We decided to splurge and get a table for this concert so it was very frustrating to say the least. Wolf Creek needs to hire an outside transportation/parking company who can get people in and out quickly! It will be a very long time before I return to this venue!

Frankie Beverly and Maze was in concert with the O'Jays and they were so good. I was able to enjoy a good show with my daughter and my step-daughters for her birthday!!! The venue was a little dark but overall I enjoyed myself.

Very nice evening at the amphitheater...

Saw Buddy Dye in May. Arrived about 45 minutes before the show. Parking was no problem. They wand you like at the airport before entering. Very friendly and helpful people working there. Think our lawn chairs would be more comfortable than their seats, so will select lawn seating next time. Recommended.

Paid $400 for 4 tickets. First time ever to ayyend.an event here. WE NEVER GOT IN TO SEE THE CONCERT....UGH! PARKING AND TRAFFIC. UGH! Can someone say nightmare. Never before seen... Oh and shuttle vans to the venue... What's that? 2 vans for almost 200 people in line with coolers and chairs. Oh and another 100 plus people still in their cars. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! The promoters should put an alert at the top of the screen informing patrons - When purchasing tickets for Wolf Creek please arrive 4 hours early or be dropped off at the front of the venue. FACT!

A Great Venue
Aug 2017 • Friends
I went to see Miss Pattie and this place did not disappoint! We went as soon as the parking lot opened and an hour before the gates opened so everything was smooth sailing. Everybody was super accommodating and friendly. Only thing I would have liked to see different is a cop on the corner of Merk Rd and Camp Creek to help with the flow of traffic. Other than that perfect outing.

This venue is great. Parking seemed sufficient if you get there on time. Quality of food and beverages depends on what you bring. It's GA, so you know a concert in August is going to be hot.

My only complaints are misleading info provided by the venue. Before going, I went to the Wolf Creek website to see what was allowed, and what wasn't. The site did not mention that backpacks were not allowed and there are no signs posted. When I get to the gate, Security informs me that no backpacks allowed. There is also no re-entry once you go out the gates.
