We had a great visit at the castle. First, we had a tour of the castle (which is still inhabited by the family). After our bike ride, we had a delicious Tuscan lunch. We had various meats, bread, olive oil, olives, grilled vegetables and pasta. And of course, wine! DELICIOUS! Then we visited the wine shop to look at other... More

We stayed on site for a week. We stayed in Panicle B which is perfect for 4. It was just my wife and I, so lots of space. Big kitchen, great little patio out front and a second loft bedroom with second bathroom which we did not use. Keeping the house to 22 degrees in July was relatively easy in... More

We went to Trebbio on a wine tasting tour but we learnt so much about the chaotically bloody feuds of florence's original families. The castle is located in the hills of tuscany, with stunning rolling views which are a welcome break from the bustling roads of florence. With so much history, delicious wine and stunning views, whats more to like?

Had a lovely Time! Hostess Constanze was a great Tour guide. Down to earth, kind, making you feel very much at ease. You'll feel free to ask, give your opinion and laugh together. Simply wonderfull Experience. The whines are Excellent, accompanied by tasty bites. Additionally was a Short Tour about olive oil.

We had a wonderful day at this winery. The castle tour was very interesting, especially the 'conspiracy room' information. Had a great wine lesson and tasting. The manager was extremely helpful and even arranged private transport to and from our hotel in Florence. Highly recommend Castello del Trebbio for a winery day trip from Florence!!

My husband and I have just returned from our wonderful wedding at Castello del Trebbio, which is where we celebrated with about 40 of our family and friends from all over the world. We're still buzzing from an experience that was so good we can't really find the words for it...but we'll try! To start with, the setting is 1000... More

This was a very pleasant tour of this castle/winery. Situated northeast of Florence, the rolling hills, wide open country, and optimal weather condition adds to the beauty that can only be described as idyllic. The castle which is now owned privately by a family since the 1960's sits atop the large stores of wine waiting to be born. Our tour... More

The Castello is lovely and the love story of family/owners was quite interesting. The wine was quite good but the tasting experience was rushed. The head of tourism was rushed and kept taking calls during our tasting. Very distracted overall and seemed overwrought. Perhaps they could hire help to manage the tasting experience. Overall very good, nice visit. Gorgeous properties.

We had a fabulous time touring the castle with a very knowledgeable tour guide. We sampled the wine and olive oil made on premise, and learned a lot about the history of the castle and Florence in general. In addition, it's a beautiful location.
