About
Yonah Mountain Vineyards is one of the premier North Georgia winery destination. We have just completed our new tasting room that overlooks our vineyards. This unique octagon structure has breathtaking views of the vineyards and Yonah Mountain itself. Stay tuned as later this year we will open a 10,000 square foot event facility, one of the biggest in North Georgia!

- JRaeJFlowood, Mississippi125 contributionsAn ACTUAL Vineyard, not just a tasting houseBeautiful setting and impressive facilities. $35 to do a tasting flight that includes the glass to take home. I would have preferred to choose which four wines I wanted in the flight, but hubby ordered a glass of red and we bought a bottle of that to take home. Friendly staff, live music, really cool atmosphere and vibe. THIS is a Vineyard & Winery. Even on a chilly, misty day, it was the perfect place to spend some time.Visited January 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten January 12, 2023

The service was very kind en the red wines are the best to drink. A place to enjoy after a great hike!Visited March 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 1, 2023
- plava_laguna89Atlanta, Georgia318 contributionsBeautiful sceneryThis place had the best tasting area, the outside patio was large and breezy despite the heat, and the view of the hills with nicely tended vines was lovely. They have a lot of their own wines. Tasting was 35 for 4 wines (2oz) which was pretty pricey in comparison to other wineries. The wines were ok, not the best, not the worst. The chardonnay tasted stragely like a dry muscadine wine. The rose was better. Cab franc classic had an intoxicating smell but high acidity was not pleasant. The Bordeaux blend was the best option with nice tannins. They also have a high end tasting option (50 for 4) which in retrospect would have been a better choice especially since high-end glasses were way too expensive (40!). Unfortunately none of the GA wineries can yet complete with the global wine scene but hopefully will get there. Until then, enjoy the scenery and a nice outing to the countryside.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 16, 2023

Beautiful vineyard and winery! My husband, pup, and I enjoyed the beautiful views, delicious wines, and excellent service. It was the perfect first stop on our little mountain getaway.

Excellent views, lovely indoor and outdoor seating. This is the Grande Dame of the area wineries. Excellent vibes here and the wine keeps improving.

This place is very picturesque, with vineyard and mountain views. The facility is very nice with a large covered patio with plenty of seating. There is an outdoor and indoor fireplace and a number of firepit tables which would made this a cozy destination on a fall or early spring trip. I had the Meritage, a dry red blend that I enjoyed. There are event spaces for private parties and I can imagine a wedding here would be spectacular.
This is a definite stop if you are near Cleveland or Helen and an easy drive from Atlanta.

Location is certainly gorgeous. Atmosphere is top notch. The prices were a little steep compared to other flights we have tried. $35/flight for small samples. You do get a glass to take home but, I would prefer a cheaper cost without the glass. We had the “sweet” wine flight which was good.

Very disappointed at Crushfest ‘22. Long lines and too many people for the event. MYV has outgrown the small, personal, and local appeal they once had.

One word “Amazing”. After months of planning and dreaming of visiting Georgia I could not wait to visit this vineyard and it was the best afternoon. We did the white and red wine flights and settled into our favorite wine drink. There was a musician that absolutely rounded out our wine country experience. A must visit when in Georgia.

We had my daughter's wedding here on August 13th, 2022. It was the most gorgeous venue. From the ceremony site overlooking the vineyard and mountains to the breathtaking reception hall. So many guests told me it was the most beautiful venue they had ever been to.

Is this ok to do with children? I have a 15 and 12 year old.

We took our 15 year old with us. Not much for him to do as he can't partake of the tasting, but he enjoyed being with our family. There were people there with younger children and it was fine. Just always remember that when you go to a primarily adult venue, kids may here adult things.
