This is a spot with lots of history. It's not as dynamic as other hikes, yet there is some very interesting history here. They do a nice job with some signage telling stories of the history.

Great little spot to stop, take a relatively easy hike, enjoy nature and a break from civilization. Easy walk and lots of wildlife if you're quiet.

Close enough to town, yet feels far away. Beautiful area with nice picnic spots. Many tables to chose from. Always a few degrees cooler.
