Love this farm
Dec 2019
I have visited Apple mountain Alpaca farm three times and can't wait for my next visit! Melissa and her Sons go out of their way to educate you on everything alpaca, including their personal Journey to owning the farm, it's clear the passion and love they have for these beautiful animals.

Tour of Alpacha farm
Dec 2019 • Family
Apple Mountain Alpaca Farm is a hidden delight. It’s a small farm that has a beautiful herd of alpaca’s. It’s a family run farm, and our hour tour ran into 2 hours. They were very welcoming and offered a lot of information on alpaca’s and their journey of running a farm. They had a lot of love for Alpaca’s and honestly all animals. It was a wonderful visit.

Totally curious
Nov 2019
Melissa & her son gave a great tour. Really informative. I asked dozens of questions! Very interesting. They both went into detail of explaining everything to me.

Couldn't miss the place with Google map. The directions took us straight there
There was an alpaca cutout by the mailbox! Sometimes code or neighbors keeps signage from being available. It is a small venue so it is a must to set up an appointment for tour! Melissa has also a store using her alpaca fleece.

I had messed up the date for the visit! Went one day early. My fault 100%. They were so very courteous & accomodating. They were willing to ask the other people's tour if we could join them. We just told them we would come back on the RIGHT day & time. LOL

Great people!

BEST STOP OF THE TRIP
Aug 2019
Spent a weekend in North Georgia with my boyfriend and this was my favorite part. I had an unbelievable time at the Alpaca farm, learning about and being around the loveliest creatures on earth. The family owned farm is so well-kept and the whole place is warm and welcoming. The tour was informative and I was so impressed by the passion they had for their animals and what they do! Will have to keep going back and checking in on my favorite cuddle buddies :)

Nobody there

With the help of Google Maps we drove to this place. No signage and when we arrived no signs and no one there. We drove up to the house and left. Very disappointing.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed. The Website, TripAdvisor, and Google listings all mention tours by reservation only... partly to prevent this. Additionally, because we're a busy working farm, tours are typically on weekends. Yesterday we had a sick pregnant mom and were with her at the UGA vet school most of the day.

Such a Great Time!
Aug 2019
I surprised my husband with an alpaca adventure for his birthday and it did not disappoint! They are extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with alpacas. We definitely enjoyed getting to pet, feed, and take pictures with the alpacas!

You will learn about alpacas, I promise
Jul 2019
We visited Apple Mountain Alpacas back in July. The place is great and tucked away in the mountains but not too far away from the highway to be a pain. The family is great and very kind. They let you pet and feed the alpacas which they have a bunch of. All kinds of alpacas. I honestly didn't know much about them but left feeling I could run my own farm. Very informative and fun. Your kids will love it!
