Amazing little park
May 2020
Rolater Park is the heart of Cave Spring with it's, well, cave and spring. It has several covered picnic areas, beautiful trees and well kept grounds, and with the adorable historic Hearn Inn, it really would be the most perfect place to organize a family reunion or wedding or any other such event.

Good day trip
Oct 2019
Fun day trip with a beautiful park, small pond, spring with cave (open on weekends until end of October, I think), and a nice area to walk around and explore. Town of Cave Spring is small but there is are a few nice places to eat and shop. Worth a visit.

Nice Park with Cave and Clear Natural Spring
Oct 2019
We visited on a cool day in October, but there were still children playing in the spring. The cave has a $1 admission. The spring fed pond has walking trail around and a creek bed for wading. The spring also feeds a rock pool but it looks like the town has neglected it this year. To be fed by such crystal clear water, surely they could vacuum the bottom. The area surrounding the pool looks like it hasn't been mowed in months. Please clean up this area. Otherwise, there are pavilions for reunions and parties. The old boys school held a wedding that Saturday night. There is also a micro hotel (bed no breakfast so I heard) on the perimeter of the park.

Cool off at Rolater Park
Sep 2019 • Family
This is the place to go swim on a very hot day and get a jug of cold spring water. There is a playground, walking trail and a duck pond. The best part of this is all of it is free!

Great to Visit but NOT WHEN IT"S VERY BUSY
Jun 2019 • Friends
This is the amazing cave and natural spring for which the beautiful little small town was named. It's a nice relaxing place to visit, just not when it is too busy.

If you have little ones who are wanting to swim in the spring-fed lake, go for it. It is a family-friendly, inexpensive park.

If you like peaceful explorations of nature and history, it is better to visit the park during the early spring or fall. (At which time the water will be freezing. Keep that in mind.)

This is a great park, plenty of parking, inexpensive and fun for the family. Historic with natural interests as well. Plan your visit according to your expectations, and you will love it.

Fun day with grandboys and friends
Jul 2019 • Family
Our trip was on Friday July 5th. The cave was a great surprise, we had never visited Cave Springs. The price to view the cave was one dollar per person. We then enjoyed feeding the fish and ducks on the lake. We then walked to the antique shop on the corner. It was loaded with many great items and a little pricey for me. We will return to visit again to swim in the spring water and we also will carry gallon jugs to bring home spring water, it is free.

Disappointed but will return
Jul 2019 • Couples
For our 41st wedding anniversary we traveled to Cave Spring Georgia to enjoy the quaint town, the antique shops, the great restaurants, and the sunshine. We arrived to find no restaurants open until Thursday, most shops closed until Wednesday or Thursday, and one of the two shops that were open had such a cigarette stench we couldn’t stay. We did visit the Cherokee Log home and enjoyed the sunshine but if you plan to visit you will want to call and check to see what is open or go on the weekend.

The spring that the town was named for. Never realized that there was actually a cave here. Locals loading up gallons of springs water. Bring your bottle or jug with you.
