FYI I called GNC 5/20/20 and the gentleman who answered the phone said no flags would be on graves Memorial Day
May 2020
I plan to go Memorial Day weekend but I was told by GNC that they would not be placing flags on graves for Memorial Day weekend

Peaceful
Jan 2020
We recently participated with Wreaths Across America on December 14th. The system of laying Christmas wreaths on every soldiers grave for the holiday and to remember each soldier. It was well organized and had plenty of wreaths. The cemetery looked so beautiful and peaceful. We went there again this weekend to get a last look and pictures before wreath cleanup on Saturday. There were a lot of visitors there which is very encouraging. There is an open rest room, trash facilities, and water to fill vases available.

Reflection of the massive number that served our country.
Dec 2019 • Family
Somber afternoon spent at the cemetery. There are 8000 graves already there, with some that paid the ultimate price by giving their lives so that we could be free. Others are those that served in our armed forces. The grounds are well kept, and the time we visited there were Christmas wreaths placed on all grave sites. An overwhelming sight.

Georgia National Cemetery for US Military
Feb 2019
This is a relatively new National military cemetery located about 50 miles north of Atlanta. Beautifully built and organized well in the rolling hill side of north Georgia.
I have a close Vet friend that is buried there. There are benches and shelters around for contemplation and prayer. May God bless each and every member of the US military.

Beautiful and emotional place
May 2019
What can I really say about such a beautiful and solitude place. Everyone should visit here. It is especially beautiful at Christmas with all the wreaths and Memorial Day with the flags.

Solemn and reverent
Aug 2019 • Friends
The GA National cemetery is a well designed and maintained final resting place for those who have given of their service and at times, lives for this country and their fellow citizens. It is also fitting that their spouses whose sacrifices are too often unrecognized have a beautiful place there as well.

A beautiful place preserved for those who should be acknowledged!

"A Final Resting place for Departed Heroes"
Oct 2018 • Family
The Georgia National Cemetery is a beautifully created site with carefully planned avenues and parking places. The landscape and plantings help to instill a sense of peace and reverence.
This poem, "Requiem" by Robert Louis Stevenson, seems appropriate in closing here.

Under the wide and starry sky,
Dig the grave and let me lie.
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will.

This be the verse you grave for me:
Here he lies where he longed to be;
Home is the sailor, home from sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
