The overpowering Brobdingnagian TV screen on the hill and the giant screen at the wave pool are simply annoying, loud, and constantly running. Sheesh... not every person needs the constant media and teenie music/movie barrage. Also, ticket prices are exorbitant for what is offered. The slides need some serious upgrades and be brought into the 21 century, although the CAT4... More

We visit this area of GA specifically to visit Lanier World. There's a lot to do and has plenty of space. There's lots of free chairs and loungers. Shade is provided by free umbrellas or rented umbrellas if you don't want to share. Love this place.

We had our first experience today at Lanier World. We are North Atlanta residents and decided to make the drive to try out something different with our kids. I was ready for long lines tons of ppl you name it. Upon arrival the two boys at the admissions stand were awkward, no greeting, no suggestion or question of what tickets... More

Fun place to cool off on a hot July day in Georgia. Slides, Pool, lake sand, everything you need for water park fun.

My Wife and I chose the Lanier Island Venitian Pier for our Wedding rehearsal dinner. I can honestly say that the staff at Lanier Islands really came through; and helped to make our event a most memorable event. The set up was beautiful and the food was great. People gave great remarks with the tastefulness of the food. The catering... More

This water park was expensive for what you got in return. There are some slides and attractions but sometimes waits are very long. Food was expensive and did not taste well. The teenagers enjoyed it overall but once you've been to a large water park, this one doesn't measure up. It's a good local option though. They say no food... More

Awful experience. Was not the kid friendly place I went to as a kid. Adults were drunk and some even got arrested for fighting. One of the older kids (10) said all they could see was people's butts. Went to the Sunset cove restaurant, which had horrible service and food, and a drunk lady with practically no swimsuit stopped by... More

As a mother of a 4 year old, I didn't think the price was worth the attractions. We enjoyed the wave pool and the small area for kids, but we would have saved money by going to a splash pad instead, and we would have had the same amount of fun. The slides are great for older kids, but for... More

Very laid back place, a lot to do and see. Was a lot of fun for young and old at heart. A little pricy but well worth it.

This park is safe with great life guards especially with the small children. The restrooms are not convenient. Needs more healthy food options and more places to eat. It's very hard to get a chair, or a spot under a shade umbrella. Very expensive for a family of 4. You can't take food or drinks into the park, so that... More
