Great experience

The water in the lake was pretty dirty with trash flowing. The pools, however, were very nice. Especially loved the waves pool. Great play zone for little kids too.

This place was clean and fun but way too overpriced. We paid $11.25 for a hotdog, water and chips. $15 to get in the gate and $44 for admission. Too pricey!

I grew up going to this water park and enjoyed my visit as an adult as well! I noticed some of the slides were chipping and needed attention. My favorite ride was closed which was disappointing. The wait for tubes was a little long even though the park was not very full! The only good thing about that was the... More

The entrance fee to the water park is high, but there is a LOT to do at this waterpark. There are 7 sets of water slides, a wave pool, kids play area, wibit (an inflatable obstacle course mid lake), and a beach where you can watch a giant 5 story tv. Because there are so many offerings we did not... More

Lanier World is Fantastic when it comes to cleanliness, variety, space, creativity, and just plain fun. HOWEVER..... the ridiculous rules of no cooler is absurd not because you can't bring in a cooler with drinks. Please let me explain so you don't get stuck like we did. I read over the rules and it said you are allowed the following: " guests... More

My immediate family took a vacation day to visit the park. We bought 6 prepaid tickets for about $40 each = $216.94 in tickets and fees. We arrived at 1:17 and paid $15 to park. Running damage total: $231.94 Waited in line nearly 20-25 minutes, despite the fact that we had prepaid for our tickets. No one had a scanner... More

I have lived in Georgia for years and have gone here since I was born. The place pretty much has been on a downward spiral every time I revisit. First thing that is a nightmare about this place is the prices. The current price for an average adult/teen is roughly around $41.00. Not only do you have the cost of... More

Dispassionate, unorganized and hard to reach. If there is an issue, they blame it on customer. We spent thousands to stay at the resort in room, food, amenities. I use the word "resort" loosely, because the lack of service, the trash around the grounds, the poorly kept lake houses, mediocre food doesn't represent the title.

Enjoyed our day at Lanier islands. The kids had a blast on the water slides and the raging river. There is plenty to do. The entrance fees were quite pricey though 41 per person (children as well) parking was pricey as well. Overall it was fun day but I feel it was overpriced
