We took this same shrimp boat tour 3 or 4 years ago when we were visiting SSI. The children enjoyed it so much that they requested we do it again on our visit 2 weeks ago. I saw that they no longer offer the shrimp to eat anymore, and was fine with that, even though the ticket prices remain the... More

This trip was fun and informative. The naturalist answered all questions well and was great with the kids. Drops net three times pulls up different wild life and tells you what they are before releasing. Great for kids but this "adult" was equally excited

This trip is an "eco adventure" on a boat with a shrimp net and a naturalist. The naturalist was super informative and identified all sorts of critters which were caught in the net as we went along. Then he threw them all back in the water. There were several creatures none of us had known about before. We also saw... More

This was a great two hours of learning about the estuaries and eco-life near Saint Simons and Jekyll Island. The captain drops the net three times and brings up whatever he drags behind the boat up onto the deck and a naturalist explains each of the individuals and different information about them. I wish it had been a little bit... More

Outstanding. Great naturalist on board that explained what was caught in a series of three catches. Ocean trout, crabs also caught along with the list above. Plus dolphin sightings. Easy cruise on clean fishing boat. Friendly crew. The real deal.

We had a fun and very informative trip. Our naturalist was amazing; very knowledgeable. We learned so much about the intracoastal waterway as well as the ecosystem. It was fun learning how the nets are dragged and lifted back unto the boat; the importance of horseshoe crabs; the quickest way to devein a shrimp. Highly recommend this tour.

The Lady Jane is a wonderful way to learn about the intracoastal waterway ecosystem - the boat ride includes dragging the net and discussing the creatures you find. Excellent!

Great tour for the family and friends as well as business parties. Learned so much about the river but mostly enjoyed the beauty!
