Simon went above and beyond to make this one of my best kitesurfing experiences in my 15+ years of kiting. Great tips to help with progression from tweaks to my own gear to trying out new boards. Having a young baby then he and Laura did their utmost to accommodate so my family could join me a few days on the beach. They went the extra distance to help ensure I got out at the desired times (needed the help because of the baby) and ensuring I maximised time on the water. Also Simon is a talented kitesurfer but also talented teacher so can recommend him for any skill level especially those in my scenario who are looking at progression. Dependable, trustworthy, knowledgeable (both in location and kitesurfing) and willing to do that little bit extra to ensure you have a memorable experience.

Wow! What a gem! I visited Cas en Bas with a friend and stumbled upon Aquaholics Kite Surfing School. After being dragged up the beach by my friend on his kite, I asked Aquaholics about their lesson plan, so glad I did. After just 3 lessons I was up and kite surfing!! I can honestly say, the instruction I received was second to none, the best instruction and fastest possible progression I could have wished for. Simon, Sandy and Ron are really friendly and passionate about Kite Surfing and they tailor the instruction perfectly to you on a one to one basis. They use a jet ski, which you drive, with the instructor on the back flying the kite to take you well upwind so you get very long rides while learning and no long walks back to the start area. I'm now addicted to Kite Surfing and can't wait to return for more lessons. I'd highly recommend a visit for a safe and fun time, you will not regret it!!

I had a great experience learning kitesurfing at Aquaholics on Cas-En-Bas beach in St. Lucia.
I took a lesson a couple of years ago in Turks and Caicos, one with Simon (Aquaholics) two years ago, and the 6-hour course with Simon, Sandy, and Ron from Aquaholics in February 2015. I really appreciated the Aquaholics approach to teaching; it was so much better than what I experienced in the Turks. The staff at Aquaholics are committed to having you learn, making sure you have a great time, and are safe. The combination of kite control, body dragging, wakeboarding, etc, really helped put the elements together.
By the end of the 6-hour course, I was able to get up on the board riding in both directions, and was starting to do a small amount of upwind riding (not perfectly, but hey, I was learning ). I only wish I’d had more time to take a couple more lessons/practice time, since I was loving the experience. My kids were on the beach, playing in the surf, and cheering me on the whole time; couldn't ask for more.
There’s a great kitesurf culture on the beach, and the locals are incredibly friendly to talk with. I found that at the end of my lessons, I just sat and watched the other people go out enjoying their time riding the waves; it’s a fantastic place to relax and hang out, and I was happy to be a part of it.
I would definitely recommend Aquaholics if you’re considering learning kitesurfing in St. Lucia. I’ve been to the country three times in the last four years, and I know I’ll be going back again as soon as possible. I’m certain I’ll be back either for more advanced lessons, or just to rent some gear and have some fun at Cas-En-Bas beach. Simon, Sandy, and Ron are wonderful hosts to the sport, and to the island of St. Lucia in general; I can’t wait to see them again.

If you want to learn to kite surf this is the place to do it! Simon and Sandy have a unique methodology and are very experienced surfers. They cleverly home in on the individuals required skills and providing the specific experience to get you up and riding in the most time efficient and safe manner. They are professional and delightful people (together with Robert?). The location is excellent for learning in the protection of the bay or for experiencing the excitement of the waves/surf beyond the rocks/surf (and of course gaining confidence and control). Having jet-skis (two) provides a high level of safety and also means that (e.g.)Simon can be close to you and identify the areas for attention. Alternatively you can be on the jet-ski while specific techniques are demonstrated close up! For those beginners who have not ridden on a board before (i.e. wake-board) you will also be able to experience riding on the board by being towed behind the jetski. It is also a beautiful, friendly and fun place to be. The local surfers are really friendly and helpful. Thank you Simon, Sandy & Robert. 'cannot wait to return!!

I had just a few hours in st. lucia as I was on a cruise ship. I had never tried kite surfing, but Simon and the team provided excellent instruction. They were easy going and very helpful. The bay was beautiful. I'm hooked. I wish I had more time to do it again. My wind knowledge was minimal, but my board knowledge from wakeboarding helped me get up and ride in a couple hours. Having someone right there with you as you learn one-on-one was excellent. I highly recommend Aquaholics.

It was my first time trying kitesurfing having done some windsurfing before. Simon and his team have a proven 3 day (2 hours per day) lesson program to get you standing up by yourself. I was only able to attend the first day, but had a great time and felt like I was progressing very quickly for how difficult the sport is. Simon has an amazing teaching style, as does his wife and Ron. I had a very memorable experience. Oh and the beach where they do it is excellent since the water is shallow pretty far away from the shore and is great for learning.
Note: at the time I was there in Jan 2015, there was no building/shelter, and it was cash only. There is a Aquaholics sign at the very end of the beach, and that's where they drive up to with the JetSki and kites.

We were absolutely pleased by our encounter with Sandra and Simon. They made sure to share as much knowledge on kitesurfing as possible with us as well as everything we needed to know about the Island.
In addition (and most important) Simon is an excellent teacher and they offer very competitive price. We definetly recommand this school to everyone.

My husband is a kiter, and, as we were spending one month in the Caribbean, including one week on a "kite surfari", I thought it was time for me to take lessons. We only had 2 days in Cas en Bas. My first session was with Sandy, honing the kite flying skills. And my subsequent sessions were with Simon, working on body dragging and board skills. Cas en Bas is a nice, quiet(except for weekends and holidays), protected cove. The wind was blowing! Sandy and Simon are very laid back, yet very passionate about kiting. As a beginner, with a great fear of the water and all things under it, I found their teaching technique to be organized, methodical, encouraging and, most importantly, calming.
Though, I only spent a short time with them, if you're in Cas en Bas, and want to kite, I would definitely recommend contacting Aquaholics. I'm happy to report to them, I kept up with lessons, and am up and riding! I still need a lot more training, but, thanks for the start!!

This was the first time I have tried kitesurfing and have had no experience prior to this apart from a little surfing. However, Simon and Sandy had me up in about 2 lessons and I'm now hooked! Simon's knowledge of the sport is one of a seasoned professional and knows exactly what you're doing wrong. With his jet ski he can excellently guide you to get up and start riding as quick as you can! I cannot wait to return to st. lucia and be out there again! Thanks a lot guys

Myself and my kids were hooked as soon as we felt the power of the kite. Simone is a fantastic teacher and followed us every step of the way on his jet ski. Together with Sandy they make a great team. Thanks! We will be back.
