We went in November, so at least we got all the fall leaves to enjoy. The switchbacks make a 4 mile trip about 30 to 45 minutes. There is no parking at the end. People just park their vehicle at the end of the road....More
Came with family in August. Very much enjoyed the 3-mile gravel road drive. It actually felt like we were out in nature as opposed to visiting a tourist attraction. The river was also beautiful and would love a chance to float it at some point.
