Really nice place. Great views. River is nice. plenty of hiking around. In fact the Benton Mc kaye Trail goes over the bridge. At certain times of the year there can be problems with the road.

We went in November, so at least we got all the fall leaves to enjoy. The switchbacks make a 4 mile trip about 30 to 45 minutes. There is no parking at the end. People just park their vehicle at the end of the road....More

We were pleasantly surprised the hike wasn't bad at all. The bridge was nice & a great photo area. We would suggest this to anyone who asked.

Came with family in August. Very much enjoyed the 3-mile gravel road drive. It actually felt like we were out in nature as opposed to visiting a tourist attraction. The river was also beautiful and would love a chance to float it at some point.

We went late fall to have some great fun hiking and playing on the bridge. My pup loved the walk and playing in the river. Easy hike from the parking lot, longer hikes are available.

We stopped into the Ellijay information office to get written driving directions to the swinging bridge. The women in the information office were very helpful! It is about 45 min drive from Ellijay. The drive is pretty. The parking lot is down a bumpy road...More
