This is truly an institution in Blue Ridge. A must visit. Great lunch , homemade pastries, local farm fruits and vegetables. Especially the fried pies. Nice experience.

I go EVERY year at harvest time and belong to the Apple Pie Anonymous Club as I have been known to sneak there just to buy the fried apple pies.

A large, working orchard replete with apples and peaces is a wonderful thing by itself, but an attached bakery to use that abundance? Delicious. Also, an endless assortment of fruit derived goods -- syrups, jams and jellies, sugar free and regular. Caution: those fruit hand pies are addictive.

We went to pick apples but we're too early in the season, missed it by a week. They had plenty to for us to buy, apples, peaches, pies and tarts and donuts. Some did a hard cider tasting. We enjoyed everything we bought.

It was absolutely beautiful there and the pies are to die for! They had many neat things in the shop and I wish we could've stayed to eat an actual meal here, it seemed like it would've been delicious!

The peaches were delicious. They also had baked goods, vegetables, jams, BBQ sauces and housewares, to name a few.
